I often work nights. I just bring tomorrows breakfast with me to work. I have a snack around midnight ( fruit or lowfat muffin and cheese) and eat " breakfast" around 3-4 am...then go home and go to bed without eating around 8:30.

I make pizza dough in the bread machine. super easy and you can just pop your ingredients into the recipe thingy and it will tell you how many calories are in each serving. I work shift work too. The best advice I can give is "plan". Log your food into MFP the day before and pack your food with you. Fruit, veggies and dip sandwiches (quartered or in halves so you dont scarf down the whole thing at once) . I make home made muffins ( they take no time to make and have 120 calories in them_ and…

I log it under circuit training ( general) 15 minutes for 180 calories. Im sure its a bit more but wanted to be safe.

I'll be the oldest so far to post at the ripe old age of 33. My current weight is 205.5, and my goal is to stick with this until my birthday at the end of July. Giving myself 12 weeks to see what I can do. I'll send you a friend request now, and we can keep each other motivated!

Just to clarify my original question. I measured out 1/2 cup dry oatmeal, eyeballed what I thought was a good amount of water, added it to MFP diary, went back to eat it and realized I now had a cup of oatmeal due to cooking and wondered if I could eat the whole thing or just half...that was all

Wholey Moley, thanks all. 1/3 cup dry =120 calories...i cooked with water. It ends up doubling when cooked. if what I cooked is 2 portions, its 60 calories a portion...not too shabby.

I have a binge every once in awhile too. I think of it like this. Its ok to go out every once in awhile, go to a party, eat the appetizers, have a drink or 2 too many, do some innocent flirting, have a good time and go home and sleep it off...no harm done. Ooooo...I can eat them ; ) Ususally what happens though is I run out of "day" If I am busy at work or running around for the kids and dont get home until late, I just dont think its wise to try and get 700 calories in right before I go to bed. And I usually dont have the energy to be bothered to cook anything.
