  • I add it in for myself everyday. Everything I've read says 300-500 calories per day extra. And you want to make sure you get all those calories...and probably any exercise cals too. Great work making it to the 8 month mark with your kiddo! It takes dedication to get there.
  • Littleton!! And love it! btw...it was HOT today! :-)
  • Been there, done that, ...still sitting on my a**!! If you figure out how to get some motivation, please share!!
  • Hello Everyone! I'm hoping I can join your group. I'm only 6 weeks pregnant, so its very early and I'm being very cautious but I could use some advice on cravings, morning sickness, and trying to stay healthy all at once! I'm not sure if I was just so happy with my first pregnancy that I didnt notice the nausea. But I dont…
  • I have a Polar HRM too. I love it!! I cant remember what model it is but it has a pink watch band. I actually found it on craigslist. It was brand new and only $30!! I'm not sure what it would be in the store tho. I think when I was researching it, it was around $100. And after having used it I think its worth $100…

  • I think you hit it on the nose with your title. Loneliness. Or increased stress when he's not around to help out. You probably have more to do and it seems like more work. Any job is harder and more stressful alone than with your honey by your side. I'd be missing my honey so much I wouldn't want to do anything either and…
  • Thank you to everyone for your support!! I never thought I could actually feel emotions thru a computer but I did and it helped immensly!! After reading everyone's comments, I stopped and thought about what I was doing. I dumped out my second glass of diet coke and vodka and went to bed. I cried myself to sleep and felt…

  • Beautiful!! Thank You for the motivation and inspiration!!!
  • I agree with first thing in the morning after you're gone to the bathroom. I also recommend...as hard as it is...only weighing once a week. On the same scale too. The same scale will (hopefully) keep it more acurate than using different scales, since they can have a 1-3 lb difference. Atleast that's what I've found. Good…
  • Yes!! Especially if its diluted and unsweetened! It's full of antioxidents!!
  • simpe....one word.....BROWNIES!!!! Yummy!!
  • A lot of times, if I don't eat my exercise calories (like your 1000 left over) then I wake up in the middle of the night...STARVING!!! So I suggest trying to eat some of your left over exercise calories. If you can. Good luck!!! It takes awhile to figure out how to balance everything...but if I can do it... then you can,…
  • Hello! I lost my Dad last December... so I feel your pain and am truly sorry! I gained 29 lbs of "emotional eating" pounds this last year. My husband and I also had trouble getting pregnant. After 7 years, I finally lost about 15 lbs to get under 200 lbs and we were able to concieve. I wish you much luck in your journey! I…
  • So sorry for your loss. But good job on the other part. Keep it up.
  • A knock out dress is a great reward!! But seeing your hubby's face will be a priceless reward in itself!! I'm getting myself a pedi as soon as I get under 210 (hopefully next week) and getting my hair done (professionally) when I get under 200!! With all the money I'm saving not getting fast food this should be fairly easy…

  • FANTASTIC!!!! WTG!!! Thanks for being an inspiration!!
  • LOL!!! We're all looking for answers...where are they? I've only had one c-section and wish I didn't have any feeling down there. I have quite a bit of soreness just from taking a walk. I'm starting the Biggest Loser workouts but it's too early to tell if it's going to do anything for that pooch. Sorry I don't have any…
  • I love many of these tips...however...(duh...who wasn't expecting a "however"?) From a dental hygienist's view...please don't chew ice! Really hard on your teeth! Gum is fantastic...my fav is Trident!! And ALWAYS use a soft bristled toothbrush and a pea sized amount of toothpaste...especially if you are going to brush more…
  • Missing going to the gym?!?! That's a HUGE success!!! Great Job!!!
  • Friggin HILARIOUS!!!! I about pee'd myself!!! Too funny!!!
  • In theory, weight loss should be a "life-style change," right? So we have to learn to balance the foods we love with the foods that are good for us. So I say...GO FOR IT! But eat a really healthy breakfast and lunch and exercise to earn some extra calories!! And don't go entering any hot wing eating…
