I appreciate your input. I cooked more this past weekend than I have in a while and I am packing my lunch for work. This has helped me plan my calorie intake and save me money. I also told my family that we needed to stop eating out so much. My hubby cooked supper last night! I hope things worked out well with your family.

Thanks for the tip on freezing them. Never though about using muffin tins. Do they pop out easily after being frozen or do you use Pam?

I don't drink coffee as much as I used to (triggers hot flashes...uhhhh!). I can see how smoothies and coffee would be a bad combo. Thank you for the smoothie recipe. I will try it sometime...minus the coffee.

Thank you for the breakfast ideas. I am really bad about not getting in enough fruits and veggies. I will try the cottage cheese and the ff vanilla yogurt...I might add granola to the yogurt. YUM! Have you ever tried smoothies for breakfast and if so, what kind and how do you make them?

My daughter and I went to the zoo last Friday and I saw a lot of women wearing summer dresses, so no I don't think it would look out of place. I think it is okay the way you are doing it as long as you are "keeping it real" for yourself. You have lost 26 pounds so far! So it seems to me that the way you are keeping track hasn't interfered with your success. Keep up the great work!
