You need to let him go so someone else can be happy with him, just the way he is. You can't make yourself want him and he can't make you want him. End it and get on with you life. This is a sad story. Life is too short to lead someone on,

1) not so much 2) yes, ridiculously. 3) bacon and butter ice cream deep fried. No, I haven't actually tried that but I am pretty sure I am onto something,

200lb loss?? Amazing! Mr. Cranky pants has earned his rant! Some people are needier than others. Just skip the needy posts and move on to the inspirational ones. And by the way- please use your 15 minutes of post fame to share your story! I would LOVE to hear how you did it and why! I have a long journey ahead of me and…

spaghetti with meatballs (I am assuming it comes with a side salad and garlic bread) steak homemade Mac and cheese By the way, my duffle bag is packed and I am ready to go!

"Dang man, How did you get to be 400lbs?" "Oh, eating a few banana's everyday. And corn." (No one ever said!)

Sounds like there are a lot of us with this same issue! :) I like to eat at night, too. I also happen to not be into breakfast most mornings so I will just have a cup of coffee or tea and some fruit. I try to keep lunch around 500 or so calories and then in the evening I can eat a full and satisfying meal and have a snack!…

I don't play much any more but I played clarinet, e flat clarinet, and bass clarinet in junior high then cornet for a summer and piano for years. I miss music so much!

I am not really a snob about too much. Given I live overseas on base I am pretty much a slave to what is in stock or I have to buy the Japanese version of whatever I am looking for. Mostly, I prefer fresh over canned or frozen. If I can get organic I prefer organic. And for the record, Japanese chocolates, breads, and mayo…

Doritos, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, oreos, and chocolate chip cookies are a few of my weaknesses. They will call my name and wake me from a sound slumber just to go eat them. I can't sleep thill their containers are empty. Sad really.

Guilty pleasures, these days it's Indian food with naan! Sometimes it noodles and tempura. I love the food here in Japan!! Fortunately I have to walk to the restaurants.

Seems like he is happy-ish with the way things are. If you aren't it's time to find another relationship. No marriage should ever be the result of an ultimatum.

60 lbs? You look amazing!!!

A few years ago I lost about 35 pounds before we went on vacation. This is a photo from that vacation to Hilton Head Island. I gained it all back starting on that vacation. It's a reminder that I can do it again and this time not to do any quick fixes, like Adkins. Just old fashioned calorie counting and exercise.

I have been a yo-yo'er for years! When I loose it's anywhere from 30-80lbs and like wise with the gaining. So, this time I decided to keep my clothes. I usually do the donation thing. This time I want to get a box. Part of me would rather not hold on to them, as I hate to hold on to anything! But maybe I need that gentle…

Oh, and I second that Spirutein shakes are pretty good and good for you. Maybe not the turbo super high weightlifter style protein shake but very good and reasonable. There are tons of flavors and a lot of health food stores carry the brand. They make single serving packs too, making it easy to sample different flavors. I…

I LOVE the Larabars and Odwalla bars. The ingredients read real food. No weird stuff, just things that grow on trees. My favorite Odwalla flavor is the banana nut and my favorite Larabar is apple pie. Very tasty.

You can a big difference through your back too! I am sure it feels great!! Thank you sooooo much for sharing!!

I usually eat most of mine back. I have still managed to loose a good amount of weight. If you are accurate in entering your data to start there is already a deficit added to your formula. Exercising just adds to that deficit. If you don't eat them back you will, theoretically, loose weight faster. I have a LOT to loose…

I have only had a small success but the secret to it is sticking with it. I can't succeed if I give up. I have to wake up each morning and dedicate myself to the cause yet love myself enough to be ok with the occasional flub.

I can see your point, but here is mine. I, for one, loath house work. I am big on hiring that sort of thing out. I would rather spend my hard earned money letting someone else burn the calories to clean after me and the family. Now that I am on a healthier lifestyle track I see how ridiculous that is. Also, I almost…

I, too, have type 2 diabetes. For me, exercise is a must! I try to get some in every day. I have been in denial off and on for years, it's a hard pill to swallow thinking you have to change your life or give your life up! A couple of weeks ago I went on just a plant based diet and it was easy for the week. My blood sugar…

FIll your cart up with healthy foods. Mostly produce, I agree! If you think you can put just a few bad items in there and stay away form them once you get them home- you are setting yourself up for a rough time. Make a list of meals you love and see if you can make them healthier. Keep lots of quick and easy to eat fruits…

I have a whole army of food devils. I LOVE pasta! If I buy a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos, I eat the whole bag. Period. Chocolate chip cookies are one of the reasons I am now having to use myfitnesspal. To that list I can add anything from the local Mexican and chinese joints. Sad.

Yes, it does help. My husband has done it. His waist turned an awful shade of purple and it became really sore. Also, it doesn't last very long. A few hours.

Oh Honey! I know the feeling. Several years ago I lost 30 pounds down from 300. It was the first time I ever tried to loose weight. We lived in Japan then too, a different base from where we live now but we had just moved there. I saw an acquaintance I had met when we first arrived and I thought for sure when she saw me…

Soda, sweet tea and fast food! Some days I ate out for all three meals!

I agree with the other reply about PCOS. I have it too. Doesn't mean you have it but it's something to look into. It is also thought to be the culprit for the dark inner thigh skin as well. Some have it on the back of the neck too.

I don't have too many but I will say I have to clean my plate! I can't stand to even leave a grain of rice on my plate or in my bowl. I have always been this way. Also, when I eat it's usually in a very neat pattern. I will push the food into a mound and then take from the mound. With Cool Ranch Doritos, which I try not to…

I don't usually do low cal breakfasts. I love a bowl of oatmeal with a sliced banana, a sprinkling of almonds and a good drizzle of honey. Sometimes I will do a protein shake with soy milk and chia seeds. I LOVE soy sausages with a side of some sort of fruit. Low cal would probably be a piece of fruit. Eggs don't agree…
