I've seen your success post before. You are really doing good with your workouts as evidence by your recent pictures. I do run too 5-6 days/wk and I've been wanting to start lifting heavy too. I even bought the book NROLFW but just couldn't get my self to join the gym to be able to do all the exercises in the book and I…

Congratulations on your success! Just like everything else, it takes time, patience and a lot of hard work to achieve what you set your mind to.

good point.

I always have a tall glass of lukewarm water (I have a 2.5 gallon of Poland Spring water sitting on my counter) and a piece of toast (no butter) every morning right after I woke up. Within half an hour, I go to the bathroom and take care of my business. Somehow that always works for me.

45 grams or percent of protein? Assuming it's 45 grams, I think that's way too low. My daily calorie goal is 1290 and 36% of that should come from protein, which is 97 grams, that's without exercise. When I factor in the exercise part, it jumps up to 134 grams. I stay consistent with burning 500 calories from exercise by…

I find that most nutrient dense foods are low in calories so I try to stick with that. I would splurge occasionally if I'm really craving for something or when the temptation is really hard to resist.

I wouldn't stop the cardio, maybe cut back on the time and then focus more on strength training. Also, try to do resistance exercises that would involve more muscles like push ups, planks, squats. You probably know all of that already. Congratulations by the way on reaching your goal weight.

I always find it filling to eat nuts and fruit together and finish it with water. I like roasted and salted almonds (1/4 cup or 30 grams) and strawberries (1 cup, halves) and blueberries (1/2 cup).

It's a great feeling as I feel the same way. Not that I'm in my lightest weight ever but more on smallest size. I lost more on the inches department rather than pounds. I love it! The clothes I wore on the time that I thought I was small are loser now than before. Enjoy it!!!

Seeing great results like this gives affirmation to my belief that I too can achieve my goal. I may not have the same starting weight or measurements as you but we have the same goal for our health or body image and I know I can do the job just like you did. Thanks for the inspiration!!!!

Can you taste the beet on this recipe? Not really a big fan of it.

Find your inner strength to resist the temptation of overindulging. I believe that weight loss is all about personal accountability. It's YOUR own battle, YOUR own journey and YOUR own decisions to make. Of course, it helps when you have the support of the people around you specially your family, but that's not the case,…

This is probably the reason why I only lost 1 lb on my last weigh in. The week before that I lost a shocking 9 lbs and that was my first week of joining MFP. On my second week, I did pretty much the same thing I did on my first week but with very minimal result. I thought maybe my body is going against me already. Two days…
