Uk size 16/18-uk size 8/10, i feel like a totally different person. Im about 5lb more than in the 2nd picture atm but i look better as i never worked out, looking to lose another 14lb to put myself in the middle of my healthy weight range as im currently near the top end, profile picture was taken a few days ago.

Combination of 2 and 3? Cut down your cals AND work out without eating them all back? Its annoying seeing how long it will take but if you need to cut down to something "dangerous" you're probably trying to lose too much too quickly?

Thanks for your comments everybody that liked it! I think it'll make it easier for people to stick to if they see what will happen if they do/what won't happen if they don't! Math isn't fun, it's lovely having applications that do the numbers for you!

You don't NEED one, it just presents the info to you in a nice little table. If your weight loss goal isn't quite as neat as a lb a week it's not as easy as that. If you're a small sedentary female, 1200 or thereabouts is okay. At that amount it will take me til october to lose 12lbs because my maintanence calories for my weight are only 1613 so i cant easily do the 500 cal deficit. Having a cheat day today as my fiance has weekend leave & it's his birthday but plan to make up for it by working out more in the week & making sure my calorie deficit for the week is on track (as suggested by somebody else in this post), it really does work!

1600 is the amount of calories needed to maintain my weight so no, I'm not crazy, I just want to lose some weight and if I ate what you ate I would gain weight. Calorie requirements are going to differ based on height, weight, gender and activity level.

It's not that simple really is it? It depends what their calorie goals are for a start. At the moment I have my calorie goal set to maintenance so that I can easily see what my weekly calorie deficit is so with the odd exception I should never be in the red, even if I'm not actually losing. Everybody has different goals…

In the morning, before food & in a tshirt & pyjama bottoms usually. Try to do it once a week but usually end up doing it every day.

I got my 1st tattoo when i got to the 130s after getting down from the 180s and im so glad i waited til id lost the weight, it might look different if you have a lot to lose like people have said. Depends on where the ink is/how big obviously.

Calorie counting. Exercise makes me look better but being strict on calories was what made me lose all my weight (from the 180s down to the 130s). It sucks but it works.

Diet soda fills me up & stops me craving sweet things, I've cut down a lot but that's because of financial reasons rather than health reasons. When I had diet soda this week I realised I felt way more awake after it as well. I miss it!
