Me too!! Started Jan 27th and I'm down 21 lbs! Congrats to you :)
-
It hasn't even been a month. Keep at it!
-
Also on day two. My mom is being honored in a memorial run in September, so I really want to run it
-
I don't know how to post a screen shot here, but I just went to look at yesterday's numbers, when I closed my diary last night after supper, it told me I had 700+ calories left, today when I look back it says 300+ so Did the fitbit readjust after I went to bed? Maybe it overestimates during the day and readjusts after?…
-
It is sedentary, but unfortunately I truly am lol. Under 5000 steps on a day at home (most days)
-
Thanks for the suggestions. Everything seems to be set up correctly but mfp is still telling me to eat the total amount of calories my fitbit says I burned. I'm ignoring it, obviously, but it's annoying.
-
To use yesterday as an example fitbit says I burned 1900 calories, and added 500+ to my starting goal of 1360
-
I let mfp set it for me. I used round numbers as an easy to follow example. My actual daily goal is 1360. Alreadt today it has added 450 to my day and I haven't done much at all.

Not sure on the exercise but there is usually a drop down on the unit to switch to grams. I've also had success when adding the word gram after the food when I search

This happened to me when I was very pregnant. And it was just a pb&j....who steals a pregnant lady's pb sandwich??

I love sweet potatoes roasted with onions, a little Catalina dressing and thyme mmmm

I'm still here, My birthday was this week and I've managed to stay steady through the celebrations :)
-
I'm down 14 lbs in 6 weeks, from 182 to 168 and no one has noticed, I figure after 5-10 more it'll start getting a little bit more noticeable. My clothes are a bit big, but not crazy
-
I did switch it to lightly active this morning to see difference. That puts me at a little over 1600, so I think I'll go with that awhile and see what happens
-
Sure I'm in! Not sure a full 20 by then is reasonable for me, I'm going slow and steady, but I do want to incorporate more exercise SW 182 CW 171 Gw 145 (ultimate) 159 (June)

How did you cheat? And close, 32, married, mom
-
48, married, realtor (will Norton)

I'm doing it once a month. Just a meal, not a whole day, and not worrying about it. It helps me fight temptation when I have something to look forward to. When I get really close to my goal I may have to rework this strategy, but it seams to be working so far
-
I weigh daily but I use the same day/time every week as my "official" weight
-
What veggies do you guys add to your pastas?
-
Have you taken measurements? I bet you have had some change, you just cant see it. Keep at it
-
I usually stick to the same things for breakfast and lunch but mix it up at supper with the family
-
I don't want to walk it. It sounds kind of crazy, but I need to run it. I feel like I really need to do something really hard for me, to struggle a little and see the results. I really think it will aid in the healing.
-
Thank you all for the advice. I'm going to look into some new shoes and start slow. Outside is a no-go this time of year, but I have access to an indoor track and treadmill, though I'm not very comfortable with the treadmill lol

New Brunswick!

Cut off your leg. There. Done.

Wow, I'm so sorry. I understand how you feel in a way, I've also gained a lot of weight in the last 6 months following a trauma and a loss. This past June my mother was murdered by her partner, on a Friday night, when she didn't show for work on monday, I went looking for her, no one would answer the door, I was banging on…
-
I did the same thing today :( my baby is having some health issues and doesn't sleep. I'm exhausted and eating much more than I should :(
-
Thanks :)

do you have time to do anything at home? I go to a boot camp style class every morning, but I found an app for my phone that has similar workouts, it's called Max Capacity Trainer or something like that. Also there are some good videos on youtube if you search body weight boot camp. My 4 year old does them with me, I admit…
