LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. I was so weepy through the whole thing!

I was reading the Jack Reacher series and was on #14, but I'm taking a break from them and reading fitness magazines instead - Oxygen, Fitness Rx and Muscle and Fitness HERS.

My range of daily protein for the last two weeks has been 120 - 180. I have 1 protein powder drink per day, but other than that I eat mostly unprocessed foods. My diary is open to friends if you'd like to add me. Good luck! :-)

Get ready to go to the gym Take supplements and whey protein Go to the gym and workout! All done before anyone else in the house is even thinking about waking up!

Thank you for the pictures! I am two weeks into my heavy lifting routine, and it's motivational to see results like this!
-
I go to the gym at 5 am and use the weights - there are less people there at that time, and the people who are at the gym at 5 am are usually focused on what they are doing and not into chatting or even making eye contact. Works for me! I also walk around with a clipboard so I can record my exercises/weight/reps, which…

14 years ago at a keg party in college - I know what you're thinking - SO romantic! ;-) I guess it doesn't matter where we met because it was really love at first site and we've never been apart since.

I usually drink my coffee black or with a touch of cream - nothing flavored or sweet. However, I do like a bit of truvia (stevia) in my tea for sweetness.

I'm 5'4" and currently 140 lbs. My goal is 130 with muscle definition.

1 hardboiled egg 2 cups of coffee 0.5 cup oats with almond milk, cinnamon and truvia

I always have my rolled oats and almond milk (equal parts) with a little truvia and cinnamon. You can eat them right away, or let them soak overnight together in the fridge. I don't heat mine up though.

I just started a good lifting plan, so I will share on MFP if I see any great changes! ;-)

Agree with above ^^^^ poster and after looking at your diary it looks like your calories may be too low. You many want to educate yourself on metabolism and calorie intake - don't just assume that by eating less calories you'll shed weight. Good luck!

My Polar FT7 was ~ 60 dollars. I've only had it for a few months now, but no complaints so far!

I use a heart rate monitor and when I run at a steady pace, I am between 150 - 160. So, I think 170 would be much too high of an estimate for weight training. Sure, vigorous effort might spike you to 170, but it is not sustained over the course of your session.

Disregarding my vitamins on the top: 1. Coffee 2. Tomatoes 3. Cucumbers

I'm also tired of putting in a lot of effort and not seeing any results. That's why I'm going to kick it up a notch for the next 12 weeks and really commit to a program (Jamie Eason's Live Fit). I know I should be happy that I am making my long term health better, and I'm not gaining weight, but I want to see better…

I bought both, and while I think the plain is better than the chocolate, I think they are both way too sweet. I'll try to use them up, but I don't think I'll be buying any more.

I didn't count my vitamins, which of course are at the top of the most used list. I'm happy with my top ten list! :-) Coffee Tomatoes Cucumber Hood Milk Blueberries Peaches Carrots Apples Sugar Snap Peas Chobani Greek Yogurt

I'm starting this program on Monday (Aug 20) - and I am using this week to research and prepare. Feel free to friend me if you are doing it as well! :-)
