I def have a "type" and he is tall... I'm 5'1" and I like guys around 6' or more - sorry tall ladies for taking your men ;) But also - strong jaw line, light eyes (blue or green), and all the "other" stuff - personality, values, morals, etc. Found my prince charming <3

Started because all the research I've done points to lifting for the body type that I want... Still working on it but I def love the way it feels to be in the "guy section" of the gym and hold my own! Confidence will come.

So totally not what you're asking but.... The Mister called me into the other room and asked if I could do a pull up. I laughed and said No. BUT! I actually surprised myself when I did not 1 but 2! WOOT Not even sure how that happens. Haven't been working on them specifically.

^This. If you read some of the info on the site - he addresses this. When you feel like it's light you should be perfecting your form, and focusing on engaging the correct muscles. Also, just because you don't "feel" like it's doing anything doesn't mean it's not. :)

Love my arm band (Body Media) Depends on your goals. Can you meet them without an activity tracker? Sure! Will it motivate you and help you see numbers (I'm a numbers gal myself)? Possibly! To each their own.

I've been using mine since June - minus a trip overseas, and a couple weeks with an injury - I really like it. When I was researching devices for calorie counters, this was by far my favorite. You can review comparisons online and reviews, to make an educated choice. For which will work better for you. When you use a HRM…

ACV and coconut oil - you can use them both for almost everything.

I think 800 calories is still an over estimate. "Women in an average weight range, say roughly 120-170 for estimation purposes, are going to burn between 350 and 650 calories in an hour of Zumba, if they go at full intensity through the entire class."…

You can track reps under strength exercises - instead of putting it under cardio. But it doesn't calculate calories for strength training in MFP.

Building muscle perhaps? What do your non scale numbers look like? Are you losing inches?

Do what you've been doing. Count calories and hit your goals. The gyms are like a nice hotel would offer. Lots of walking because the ship is so large. Pick excursions that make you work - not lay on the beach and eat and drink. (Snorkel, swimming, zip line, etc.) Go to the dance club(s) - you can burn a crap ton of…

Maybe google? I'm not sure.

According to the Harvard Medical School, half an hour of high-impact aerobics burns between 210 and 311 calories depending on your body weight, while the same amount of weightlifting burns 180 to 266. It's impossible to accurately guess how many calories you burn, but these figures give you a good guide. Pilates - Survey…

Estrogen in high doses can cause weight gain due to increased appetite and fluid retention. Today's birth control pills have much lower amounts of hormones than those of years ago. (Which is where this myth came from.) Thus, weight gain is usually minimal and only last 2-3 months - the amount of time your body takes to…

They do offer "fitness training" but its NOT what anyone thinks of as fitness training... Someone will ask you what your goals are and then shows you which machines to use to get those results. Key word machines! It's maybe 15-20 minutes in a session and often times it's more than one person in a session - Just an FYI for…
