What I have read that it is best to get Vitamin D from sun exposure. That being said, I am not an outdoor girl so I supplement. I take 5,000 IU of D3 a day and my level are at a normal 55.

I started at 329.4, currently at 174.8. It may seem daunting at first but it can be done! Good luck!

Hi. I've being doing Primal since March 2011. Feel free to friend/and or look at my diary.

Full-fat Fage with honey and almonds is what I eat. Roasted almonds even better!

I take 5000iu daily. I had my levels tested in January and it was 55, which is good. It is advised to take vitamin D with fat to help with absorption.

If I hear "Calories in, Calories Out" one more time my head is going to explode...lol. If it was just that, I would be gaining weight, not losing. Ever try pasta without anything on it? It tastes like crap. Pasta is only the vehicle for the sauce.

Read labels, limit processed foods No Grain No Soy Limited Dairy Try to buy locally produced food No snacking Try to drink green tea everyday I don't drink with my meals either, supposed to help with digestion. (It can't hurt and might help!)

I eat it about 4 times a week. I try to get local grass-fed when I am not too broke

I've been following Primal since March and lost 67 of my pounds. What I like is that I am not hungry all the time, which I was just counting calories. I feel that this is a easy, healthy way to eat.

Primal/Paleo is the easiest way that I have ever lost weight and gotten healthy. I've lost weight counting calories and eating "healthy whole grains", but I was always hungry and would gain the weight back plus some. I just wish I knew about this "back in the day"....lol

I can get Kerrygold butter for under $3.00, at the supermarket its $5.00. I also like to get Applegate organic hot dogs there, much cheaper than the health food store. They have a good cheese selection at decent prices. They are the only store in town where I can pick up full-fat greek yogurt.

129 so I can say I lost 200 pounds. I will be happy with 135 though.

I just started drinking Rishi Earl Grey Rooibos tea (technically its an herb but brewed the same as tea). Its naturally decaffeinated and has a hint of citrus. Loose leaf white tea is also a good option.

The first one I tried was Gt's Gingerade, too strong. I would recommend GT's Botanic 3 or 9. Its yum!
