Processed food has added everything right? So why do we make it more complicated than it needs to be saying "avoid added fat, sugar, MSG, etc."? I have PCOS and have read so many books, I still struggle. But there is some very basic overlap among them all. Make your own food as much as possible.

Processed foods tend to make us fat. Avoid processed food, avoid MSG, problem solved.

Thanks. That was my thinking. I have seen a naturopath, I'm doing a mix of east and west. And nothing has fully worked. So, I'm giving its a whirl for one month--at least to prove he wrong.

I know what works for me and that's a combination of lowered calories and carbs. There's research to show that if you watch carbs even if you eat more calories you'll lose weight. The problem I experiences (which not everyone does) is that for most people low carbs also blunts their appetite so that they also eat less. I…
