Completed Day 1 today (Chest & Back + Ab Ripper X). Feeling good - know I am going to be sore tomorrow haha. I keep hearing that following the diet plan really works - maybe it is just eating clean and following the macronutrients? I am trying to figure out how to make it work for me - I eat pretty cleanly most of the time…

The diet plan is compatible for vegans. You just substitute the normal things in (tofu, tempeh, beans, etc)

This, truely.

This is what MFP is for. However, yes, there are some people who are on here who are very thin. MFP is also used by some to gain weight, as it allows you to work with the calorie counter to do so. It is not a place to encourage EDs, but healthy living. Hopefully those who are struggling can reach out to the community to…

PS: I used this bra for Turbo Fire & Running. It's great. Did so with a D cup, but it is more supportive than my last "supportive bra" for when I had a DD cup.

haha, I figured. I need to wake up too before my brain works haha

I love love Moving Comfort's bra Juno, you can get it on Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/Moving-Comfort-Womens-Juno-Black/dp/B002T1FV3Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1306934302&sr=8-1 It is super supportive.

How is a workout program unhealthy..? Particularly one that focuses on building muscle and tells you to not eat a deficit? I wonder where you heard this, I usually just hear raves about it.

I'll be your online friend! just go out and try to meet people - look for hobbie clubs, or sports clubs. Something that you're interested in. That's a good way to meet people.

I am starting P90X today! I just did my fit test last night! Except I will be doing all 90 days.. so Until September 1st

Re-posting my stats. I am female, 23, living near Washington, DC. Interested in Males from 23-32 Relocation is not possible currently, as I am in graduate school, but definitely something that would be considered in the future.

I think that's her boss' character name. I will see if I can think of anything.

Are you running on the road? It could be from the curve in the road - if so. One leg has to go slightly farther to hit the ground than the other. It could cause that strain.
-
That's cute! It's funny what kids come up with
-
I am sure I will be the same when I get to it when I start P90X next week. There is a reason for a recovery week - perhaps walking or a light jog will make it feel more productive
-
It's a dance work out, really good for people who don't like working out in the old fashioned sense.
-
That's crazy!

Well, as you drop weight - you burn less calories too. If you know your VO2 Max - when that goes up, you burn more. You can find ways to add extra umph to the turbo fire workouts - kick higher, punch harder, jump higher. Good stuff.
-
Yes, it works! If you track your food intake and exercise, it will work. I have lost 40 lbs here!
-
This was an awesome post. Getting a little vain seems to be a side effect of body transformation
-
haha, yes, I feel this way a lot too - can't seem to find the "right" guy. But, I am only 23 - might as well live it up while I am young.
-
Well, I found that ZWT is usually used for Zero Wait Time - maybe some derivative of that?
-
Yeah, it's hard to get it up when you're still getting used to the moves. I haven't done Turbo Jam - but with Turbo Fire, if I start punching harder and squatting lower - it'll raise my HR. So try punching harder in Turbo Jam (as I know there are kickboxing moves in it..) The more movement you do - the higher it will get :)

Well, I am almost a foot shorter than you (at 5'3"), so I don't have any of measurements to comment on. But my suggestion is to strength train - add some muscle to your body. That should help you thin out some more if you want. And don't worry so much about the measurements - just go by how you look in the mirror!
-
As others said, it depends what you want - cardio conditioning or strength training. Turbo Fire is REALLY fun - great music. Once you get the choreography, it becomes even more fun! I am finishing up two months of it in a couple of weeks and starting P90X. I used Turbo Fire as a cardio break between strength training…

You're looking fantastic! love the guns!

Welcome to MFP! This is a great website and it really helps you keep on track. So many motivated people! I am a graduate student - so know the difficulty it is to keep eating right and working out when having a full course load. Feel free to add me!

I second this. I have been drinking fluids and eating fruits & veggies, but am still up 3lbs. I know it's not real weight gain, per say, so if I am not back down I am just going to pass on this weeks weigh in
