I have a 20.00 starfrit scale that I have been using for about 4 years. For me as long as I can zero/tare the balance with my dishes, and measure in grams I am good. you don't need to spend 60.00 on one.

Yes but it will be an estimate of my intake. No food scales allowed and I will be over! I will at least have a general idea of how over I am.

Be honest with what you eat. If you screw up one day, work on staying under for the week. I record good and bad and my bad days eventually get less and less.

I bike, walk and don't necessarily do the 30 day shred only... I think I have 7 of her DVD's so I rotate between DVD's and levels so I don't get bored.

When my metabolism existed at 36, I dropped from 220 to 190 with out much exercise and eating 1500 calories a day. Today at 43, I eat 1200 calories a day, have exercised almost daily since February to Jillian and the weight is slowly coming off. I think once you get close to your ideal weight, exercise is a must.
