I would suggest changing up your workouts. Do some HIIT workouts, lift some heavy weights etc. Something different than what your body is used to. It might take a couple weeks to see a change cause your body might be in a bit of shock and hold on to some water weight. But it should start things moving again. Good Luck!!

you caloric need is going to change based on your height, weight etc. Then you would add the extra calories. Are you using the ones added into MFP under foods? It will give you a negative calories adding extra to your days amount. They have all sorts in there. LIke if your 7 month old is eating some solids etc. If you are…

and they show you in the dvds how to "choke up" on the bands which increase the resistance.

That should be good for a beginner. When I first did it I only had a 5 lb set of dumbbells and then eventually I added a set of 10's. I still gained a ton of muscle just from using those. My parents got me the bowflex dumbbells for Christmas and then I redid it and really went heavy. So you should be in great shape to get…

Just wanted to post and say you can totally do this!!!! I started this journey at 240 UGH and am currently just under 180 woohoo. It was a long hard road and its not over. My goal is 160 but losing the first 60 was worth it so I know the last 20 or so will be too!!! Friend me if you want any extra support!!

Yep love Turbo Fire!!! Love the energy and music. I noticed a difference in the muscles in my core after the first week!!

This! I would only ever use that as a way to track it if you measured your BF on it the first time then you could compare to that #.

I've been drinking a meal replacement shake (chocolate) I put lots of ice in it and it makes this huge frothy shake. Fills me up and meets my chocolate craving.

Seriously your post brought tears to my eyes!!!!! You rock!!!! Amazing results!!!!! I am on day 8 of p90x and hope my results are similar to yours!!!!!!

I did Chalean Extreme and did it through 3 times until I was able to lift heavy, cause when I started I didn't have the equipment to do what I do now.

I have just started to try and get my workouts done in the morning. The 2 mornings I did it, one I felt lacking in energy. It was a lifting day, on the cardio day I felt pretty good cause I think the faster pace helped. On weight days I think I'm gonna try eating 1/2 a banana before and see if it helps. If not I might…

I eat it for lunch most days but its good whenever, 6 egg whites with spinach sometimes mushrooms too. Its good by itself but sometimes I add some spaghetti sauce (healthy low cal one) on top. Its so good.

My budget for our family of 5 is $500 for the month. So each week may be a little more or less and some months is more if we stock up on things.

Ignore the scale. Tony has said on multiple chats I've seen that women especially didn't show results (scale or otherwise) generally until the second 30 days. He said he knows it is frustrating but to just keep pushing through. Good Luck!!

I think the others covered the risks etc. I started off at 240 and am currently at 182. Its almost a 60 lb loss. I plan to get down to at least 160 if not 150. It will happen it just takes time and dedication. You can totally do this with diet and exercise. Good Luck!!

And since we only eat out about once a month and its chinese food I don't feel too guilty about it.

I've started ordering Mai Fun which is rice noodles (think super super thin spaghetti) mixed with all sorts of veggies and chicken. None of it is deep fried. It may or may not be sauteed in oil in a wok. Its a much healthier choice calorie wise than the general tsos chicken I used to get.

It is pretty intense but its lots of fun!! Great music and she really keeps you motivated.

The first week I did Turbo Fire I could feel a difference in my whole core. I was shocked cause I thought I was working my core before it.

How is your Beachbody coaching going? I'm considering signing up and was looking for feedback from other coaches.
-
You look fabulous!!! How tall are you? I'd love to look like you at 163!

This time around it was 13 lbs. I had several people come up to me on the same day and say they could tell I was losing. Which is nice to hear cause I hadn't had a significant loss in many many months.

I used the excuse "I don't have time" for years. It was bogus. It just wasn't a priority then. I still find myself feeling lazy some days but know its worth the work in the end.
-
I picked it based on how I felt when I was the weight previously. I was in the best shape of my life although I still wasn't working out like I am now so who knows what that weight will look on me this time. I might be happy before I get there, but feel like its a good place to work towards. I also might get there and…

I wouldn't unless you go crazy and burn a bunch more. Or if you are always hungry or feeling weak. Or don't have the energy to finish your workouts.
-
I have a hard time believing you are burning 1600 calories doing even both TF and CE each day. Turbo claims 650 in their information and CE would be considerably less than that on a lifting day. Are you using a HR monitor? Even if you aren't burning that much you still might need to eat a little more. Eating maybe 200-300…

Someone else brought up seeing what you are eating. Its a good point, but also how many calories. I was losing weight so slowly when I was eating back most if not all of my exercise calories. I now only eat my "regular" calories and the weight is coming off at more than a pound a week.
-
No don't stop doing CE. Keep pushing forward. It sometimes takes time for our bodies to catch up with what we are doing. Also be sure you are eating good foods, with nutrition, not just boxed stuff or empty calories. Doing Turbo and Chalean require good foods!! Good Luck, it will come trust me!!!!

dp, sorry
