Very clever! My boss would be wondering wth I'm doing! haha I drink lots of water which forces me to take trecks to the bathroom every hour haha Keeps me moving

Beautiful story! I really enjoyed reading it. You look amazing and so happy! Congrats to you :flowerforyou:

I think I'm broken, too! I know for a fact that I burn more than I consume thanks to my Up band's calculations (which underestimates and yet I still come out on top). I weigh my food and count everything that goes into my mouth and even if I was off a bit with that, I still burn more than I eat. I call BS on the whole…

When you have your period, you're not "losing blood" like you would be if you had an actual injury (i.e. stab wound, etc.) Your body "stcoks up" on the blood and tissue all month long and then, once a month, releases it since you're not pregnant and don't need the reserves. It's not like once a month all of the blood…

I have had my Oster MyBlend Blender for, oh, about 6 months now and LOVE it! I use it every single day, no problems. The best part? It was only $25!!! AND you can purchase extra bottles for it. So, basically, you put everything in the bottle and twist on the blender blades, press it down onto the base to blend (there is no…

No way you are 40! You look gorgeous!!!

In my opinion, weight loss is 40% knowledge, 30% self-discipline and 30% determination. The biggest key, for me at least, is knowledge and that's where MFP comes in. If you're aware of what you're putting into your body and the calorie content of the food you eat, chances are you're going to make better decisions. MFP is a…

THIS! I was going to say the exact same thing. According to your ticker, you have 65 lbs that you would like to lose and you've only lost 8 lbs of it (WAY TO GO!). I didn't notice any difference in my body until around 20 lbs gone... That being said, IMO, larger bellies do sometimes look better because they are smoother…

Thank you all, very much! Means a lot more than any of you could ever know. I strongly encourage anyone to reach for the stars  You can be exactly who you want to be. I'm not there yet, but I will get there!!!! I'm certain of it!

I'm so sorry that happened to you! I know that had to hurt. I remember when I was little, my mom would always talk about how fat she was (she wasn't) and how bad she looked in a swim suit (she didn't), so when I had kids, I banned the word "fat" from my house haha I have always tried to have a good body image in front of…

You are so beautiful and brave!!! Amazing work, you should be very proud. You're going to make it this time, I just know it!

I absolutely will, thank you  I hope your medical issues resolve quickly. I have been struggling with medical issues as well, so I can relate. It's tough when you lose the weight and get to goal, but still feel crappy all of the time. Then again, I think the struggle helps in a way, losing weight is something I CAN…

Thank you! I totally understand. I never regretted nursing, but it sure was nice to get my body back and shift the focus onto myself again! I'm sure you'll reach your goals in no time :flowerforyou:

Thank you! And, yes, that's really me! Haha I think we all kind of suck at running when we're starting out (to be honest, I'm still not sure I'm good at it! haha), just stick with it and hopefully you'll learn to love it, too! Good luck!

Thank you! LOVE the tat!

I think there are two issues here- Either your daughter is not hungry, but still wants dessert or your daughter is full and wants dessert anyway. Neither scenario will go over very well in my house! I, like you, want my kids to have a good relationship with food. If they are not hungry for dinner, than they are not hungry…

Thank you! And yes, you CAN do it!!!

Haha OOPS! No, that was definitely a typo :) We found out we were pregnant in Oct of 2010  My :laugh My little guy will be 2 next month!

You're not eating enough. I did the 1200 calorie thing for a while, too, and stopped losing weight. I'm 5'5" and I weight 148 and my calorie goal is 1870 (with exercise). Once I bumped my calories up, I started seeing the scale move again.

Brilliant! I love everything about this post  Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for taking the time to read :flowerforyou:

This is one journey in which patience is a necessity! If you don't have any, you better get some. Most of the poeple who lose a ton of weight in a short period of time are either very large and have quite a bit to lose or are barely eating and that's why they lose so fast. If took me a year to lose 40 lbs, but I learned…

You say you eat most of your exercise calories back, do you go by MFP's calculations? MFP is notorious for exaggerating calories burned, so it could be that you're not burning as many calories as you think you are and are therefore over-eating. Also, are you measuring? A lot of people lose inches/pant sizes without really…
