My favorite place to eat in Dayton is Coco's Bistro. I also like the Butter Cafe and Tank's for breakfast. There is a great breakfast place in Yellow Springs called The Sunrise Cafe. In Tipp City, I like the Coldwater Cafe. None of these places are considered healthy, but they're not bad. I guess it depends what you order.

Congratulations on your success! No, I wasn't there, but I do enjoy all the energy that surrounds 5K runs. My last 5K was in December of last year, and then I sort of gave up on running. Now I'm training for another 5K in July. Even though I just started training, it's amazing how good it makes you feel!

I think the best option for bread is ezekiel low-sodium. It's a flourless bread and it's really good, especially toasted. All the Ezekiel products are wonderful, in my opinion. I love pizza too, and I think it is healthier if you make it at home. Here is one of my favorites: 1 whole wheat naan, 1-2 Tbsp pesto, and top it with tomato slices and fresh mozzarella. Bake at 425 until cheese is melted. A package of Naan has two "crusts" which limits portion size.

That sounds really good! I do something similar, also in the crockpot. 4-5 chicken breasts, 1 container salsa, 1 can drained black beans. Served over rice with avocado.

Yes, there is salt everywhere. Salt, along with sugar, is hidden in so many foods we find on the grocery shelves. It seems the only way to avoid the excess ingredients we don't need is to learn how to cook our food from scratch.
