Clairemarie10-As long as you knock out the workouts that is the best part. It does take some getting use to for getting up early. For me I have noticed that if I sleep past 7 hours I am overly tired. I guess my body has really gotten use to getting up super early. Welcome aboard. Soontobemomma-I hear ya. When my wife was…

Good morning all. I had an awesome weekend. Went to a filipino fiesta on Saturday, and Sunday spent time with the fam. Was great because my wife got called off from work (Stand by). Although she does not get paid it's still a plus to have family time. Today was early as always with some Beast Cardio. Getting close to the…

Good morning everyone!!! We made it to a week and the group is slowly growing strong. I love it.... Lets say bye to this month and welcome June with greater drive to reach our goals, however big or small they are. We got some great people here, from runners to gym buffs, mom's, and future mom's, and dads as well. Again…

Lol Supplemama I thought that was what it meant at first but held back. Good for you for getting your workout in. Keep it up. Morning everyone. Happy Thursday. I got BodyBeast bulk legs done this am. Felt good to push up more weight and I felt it after the workout here at work. I can tell you that a leg workout and walking…

Hey all, Sorry for not posting yesterday... I usually get some time first thing in the morning to answer but yesterday I got SLAMMED non stop. Yesterday was a scheduled day off for me but I did manage to pull out a Ten Minute Trainer and did a quick workout. Nothing to extreme but enough to satisfy my needs. Remember what…

Ameliaanakin-Lol Welcome aboard. Hey you dont have to be a 4am rebel to be in this. Fitness is the name of the game here. Getting a 5k run is awesome. Keep it up. Ninakale-I personally think it is a mental thing. If you setup a realistic goal that you want bad enough you will do it. Once you jump in and JUST DO IT! It just…

I am loving this you all!!! In just a matter of a few days we have grown.... Still contemplating making this a group vs thread. 2 people have chimed in so far so it is a 50/50. I just glanced today at the page as today is my off day. I'll be back in here to view the page and double check. I'll respond to each and everyone…

Good morning AM Warriors. I am glad to see this blowing up. Well I'll chime in. I was up at 4 am just dragging my legs a bit. My only guess is because I knew the workout was going to be legs. I usually workout barefoot since I have carpet but I remember reading on this thread someone mention having there shoes ready to go…

dab52776-sometime snooze is necessary... Especially when it is cold and the bed is so warm an cozy. I hear ya be we do what we have to do right? Xiaolongbao-4:30 is my start on some days as the routines are short on some. So are you pretty much a runner and how far do you run? Waterwing-my magic time is 4:00 and it truly…

I work in I.T. as well for a hospital. While the I.T department is pretty stable I do notice a high turn over with the nurse's especially in the Med-Surg department coming in and getting out after about a year. I found out that they are leaving for other departments where the ratio is 1:1, etc. In our Med-Surg one told me…

Hi there Steph13RN You must be a nurse? My wife is one. In regards to what to try. If you don’t mind me asking what is it about P90 (Power90) (Not P90X right) that does not keep you motivated? Is it that it is dated meaning that Tony Horton in those goofy shorts not cutting it lol? He did make fun of himself about that. I…

Silver, What kept me motivated was joined a group (at the time I did it on the beachbody website forum). In there I was lucky enough to join a group that pretty much had a same goal in which to lose fat and get ripped. It was fun because everyone was out going. We would all jokingly tease each other saying things to fire…

Hey Silver, Like everyone else here I have done it as well and have mixed it with Insanity for a double burn. Feel free to add me and ask all the questions you want. This place is a great reference....You will never know unless you ask.. Charlie

Great for you Felicias64, Soda was hard for me to drop and right now coffee is something I am trying to let go. Notice I did say "Trying" lol. Keep it up. How far did you get with Insanity? When you get back to trying it if you need some advise let me know. Having gone through it a few times my self and I have to admit…

Hello, Feel free to add me as well. I would love to trade ideas with you and everyone else here. I gotten to the point where I lost a lot and now am working toward gaining more muscle, but I still am willing to share what I know with you all Charlie
-
Hey there Jaywestham555, I agree with psulemon in that you cannot lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. Although some people make it look like they lost fat and gained muscle it was all done through time. Sounds like you are like myself in that you have some weight to cut. I too had the same issue. What I did was cut…

JessLov67- Nice, great way to end the year and start new. Are you doing it on your own or part of a group? Is this your first time working out with something like this? I'm almost done. Actually next week will be it. If you have questions ask your Beachbody coach otherwise feel free to ask here. I'd love to help.…

Plyo-X.... done... how about you guys?
-
Cha ching!!! Chest shoulders and triceps, Boomm knocked out.
-
Add me. I have peeps on here that have dropped off as well, I still chug on though. I do try to check on them but I can only do so much... That is good you are in maintenance mode. Charlie
-
I barely made the cut at 34.... lol add me... I believe it's a combo if diet and exercise. Diet will drop the lbs, exercise will tone you up and give you shape.
-
Thats plenty of time and a great goal. Whats going on in 2014 and you do agree that if you lost the weight before than it would be great right?
-
Do both. would it bother your mom if you brought a scale? Would it bother you as well? Definitely use MFP, to keep yourself accountable. If you are looking for someone to stay accountable to add me!! I find that when i check on my friends here that they stay on track. If you are not already doing it eat small meals spaced…

Its all ladies responding but what about starting in the new year or even the day after? I'm starting a Challenge group to for some people as well. Similar to what you ladies are talking about. Didnt really think of a prize yet, but something along the lines of 60 or 90 day challenge with weekly weigh ins if possible…

Hi there, i know what you mean. I hit plateau's in my time with losing weight. It's tough. What are you currently doing as far as working out and how is your diet. Are you strict on it? Add me or post back on this thread so we can find out. Do you have a target date and weight that you would like to be at?
-
Add me as well. It's always nice to share and help each other out. Sometimes you just need to say enough is enough, and get ready to put in the work. Are you ready for it?
-
You all should just do it. You will be surprised what you can do. I know a similar story of one of my friends here on MFP who bought some jeans that were 2 sizes small because that was her original size. After working out and taking control she does not even fit the jeans!!! She went down 3 sizes from that!!!! She said…

Loving it. Getting down to the wire on phase 3. Dont know what I am more excited for? Being done with P90X or that Bodybeast Challenge group starts January 1. What are you all planning on working out to come January?
-
Sorry all, last week was recovery week with P90X for me and it is not really exciting so not much to report. Now that I am back at it Im at the start of month 3. Yesterday was Chest and Back. All pullups were still with added weight 40 lbs. Need to go back to 45 lbs soon. Today was plyo. To be honest I am getting tired of…

Again it's part of the territory. It just depends on how you look at it. You can take it an sulk in it or use it as fuel to fire you up. I personally use it to fire me up.
