  • Wait....I just took it again (like, 3 years later) and its saying I'm an ESTJ?? I think I'm in transition. I'm really into lists/budgets/agendas/schedules right now.... We'll see where I end up.
  • ENTP and I'm a homemaker, currently with no kids.
  • Wait...has no one every told you about coffee?! When I feel sluggish/fatigued it always helps to do my hair and make-up (while listening to some really upbeat music).
  • I have seen SO many single men who were bigger start dating a thin and healthy girl and they magically lose a ton of weight. My now husband was skin and bones when I met him in 2005 (5'11 135 lbs) but now he weighs more like 155. Sorry to be sexist here, but I don't think that eating is as emotional for men as it is for…
  • This is too funny. I thought OP was a man at first, which would have made it funnier to me. But I totally relate to the trauma of the dentist! Every time I go to the dentist I have to struggle not to get a burrito afterward (comfort food)!
  • I'm proud that I did another day of my circuit training routine my PT gave me....even though I was terrified after how hard it was when I did it in her studio! Also, I've already had 8 glasses of water today, so its gonna be a great day!
  • Agree! You are doing everything right! :-) Anyway, I've played around with the exercise goals part and it doesn't change your calorie goals....I don't think. I may be wrong.
  • Glad to see you're a believer now and I'm glad to hear you are having a similar experience. Good for you and yay for spike days! :drinker:
  • Sometimes I have a spike day and sometimes I don't. I generally eat back all my exercise calories (if not on the day I earn them then on a day when I want them). Yesterday I spiked all the way up to what I'm going to be eating at maintenance. I weighed myself this morning and amazingly I was one pound lighter than my weigh…
  • LOL...and how does she explain her stick arms and thighs that have a bigger gap between them than the legs themselves?
  • I started at 212 and am now at 189 (probably 187 on Sunday weigh-in). When I was skinny fat before I put on the weight, I was 140, I looked good but thought I needed to lose another 10 lbs. Now that I'm doing strength training I think 140 will look a lot better so that's my goal.
  • This forum just made my day.
  • YES! I swear I was thinking this exact same thing. Does she not know anything about the internet either?
  • My experience has been that the more I eat the more I lose (within the range of 1200-1900). I eat back my exercise calories, but not always on the day that I earned them. I've been losing more than 2 pounds/week and I keep increasing my calories. I used to think that MFP overestimated calories burned...but I've had a…
  • Oh, one more thought! Call their customer service department and ask them? Or maybe call your doctors office and ask them? Also, you might ask the OP of the thread I will link you to below. She asked the same question as you a couple months ago:…
  • Hm. I'm not sure how to answer your question, but I can tell you that I love my bodymedia armband and it has helped me to remain very successful on my diet. It keeps me constantly pushing for an extra burn. Walking a few more steps, taking the stairs, parking further away. Its is the BEST! The following information was…
  • I saw you posted in a different forum that you were upset that nobody responded to your post! I feel for you because I haven't started a single thread because I'm afraid no one will ever respond! :embarassed: But, to answer your question: I USED to do WW but I didn't like it because I found that this was the topic of every…
  • Wow, that's interesting that it told you to lose more than what you wanted. It told me to stop when I hit 169 pounds! I don't think I trust that...it seems really high.
  • I am an ex WW member too. I have strong opinions about weight watchers...but you pretty much summed it up! I think WW is good for people who don't have good eating habits because it encourages them to eat more fruits and veggies. But other than that....why do they deserve money for taking calorie counting and making it…
  • Tofu (but I do like smoked tofu)....I don't understand why people waste so many calories on something so flavorless!
  • That song was supposed to be "Brown-Skinned Girl"!!! Now I can never listen to it the same way! So...I'm gonna ruin it for you now too.... lol
  • Don't delete your facebook!! (I hate when my facebook friends I am interested in do that!)....just block that annoying b****! You don't need to see her bragging everyday. I have blocked so many people on Facebook and it feels great to not see them in your feed anymore! Also....I have found that people who brag a lot aren't…
  • OMG....this was my FIRST thought, I swear to god. Funny.
  • I know right...."Piece"? ANYWAY. I don't think your husband is worried about you being the best "piece" you can be.... I agree with a lot of the previous posts that he probably didn't communicate well what he was trying to say. My husband would NEVER voluntarily pay thousands of dollars for me to get elective surgery when…
  • I had two eggs fried in 1/2 tablespoon duck fat, a 100 calorie sandwich thin....and an ounce of Romano cheese! :blushing: And a very strong cup of coffee w/ fat free milk and splenda. I feel heavy now, lol
  • Sorry, too many answers here to read them all so I may be repeating something a lot of people have said....but here is my advice: Do not continue this in house sorta/maybe/kinda romance. Say something like this, "Thanks for lunch today. (Pause, allow some awkward silence on purpose) Do you want to take me out on a date?"…
  • That looks great...that's actually EXACTLY what my personal trainer told me to do.
  • I weight myself every single morning and it is SO annoying that every Sunday (which is my weigh in day that I actually record for my ticker) I am the heaviest I have been all week!! I swear this happens every single week. It really helps me to weigh everyday so that I can see the general trend, because I would probably get…
  • Ahhhh, we have one of those too. Only she doesn't have to work 50 hours a week and she wonders OFTEN how the hell other cleaning fairies do it and she is in total awe of them. BUT this cleaning fair does manage to turn cleaning into a dance party/exercise to better multi task. (Getting too hard to talk about myself in the…
