  • Fantastic! You look amazing and must be so proud. Well done on doing Race for Life too - I'm hoping to do our local one next year. :flowerforyou:
  • I used to go to hooping classes and have a hoop! We were told to buy one that when it was stood up it reached your hip. It seemed really large but apparently that's the best way to go to get the best benefit. Try and get one that's slightly weighted too. The proper technique is very different from that used on the Wii! You…
  • You look fantastic - well done, you must feel so proud. You're weight loss journey was really interesting and I can so relate to your problems with portion sizing too. x

  • I like rice cakes too, they come in all different flavours and are surprisingly tasty. I tend to do like you at work and just bring fruit in for a snacks, I also sometimes have hot bovril, but that is quite high in salt. Today I've brought in some Laughing Cow Light cheese triangles which are only 25 calories each.
  • I joined 3 weeks ago and I'm hooked!! Can't believe how much more informed I am now about what I eat and I don't consider myself being on a diet at all. All the friends I have a such a huge support and the encouragement is fantastic

  • And I'm 50, 5'7" and weigh 14stone 10pounds. Am in a size 16 with the (very) occasional 14. My goal is 12stone 7pounds and then I'll re-think, I want to fit into size 12/14 clothes again with ease. I've a big bust with a small back and my waist is small in comparison to my thighs so finding some clothes to fit is a bit of…
  • You've lost 18 pounds!! Wow, that's amazing, be proud, very proud NOW! In fact you should be proud for every single pound you lose, even the very first one. You are doing brilliantly and you just need to give a self satisfied smile back at your cousin or any other person who says anything derogatory about your weight loss.…
  • Yup! I was going to answer exactly the same as that!!

I will try and get to the gym Sunday morning and, if not, will take my dog for a long walk to burn off some calories beforehand. I'll skip on the…
  • I stick to shops own brand food almost all the time, but like others I always buy 'proper' coffee and baked beans! Have to say I've been shopping a lot more at Lidl and Aldi recently and some of their own brand stuff is excellent and so much cheaper than the big 4 supermarkets.
