  • Yes there is. Group search function is wonky at the moment so for those interested here's the link. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/3566-the-geek-squid and for gamers http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/19-mfp-gamers
  • If by sparks you mean huffing and puffing with tons of sweat, then yes!
  • http://marvel.com/news/tv/24699/jon_bernthal_cast_as_frank_castle_in_the_netflix_original_series_marvels_daredevil :tldr: Shane from The Walking Dead has been casted to play Frank Castle a.k.a. The Punisher in season 2 of Daredevil.
  • Exercising buddies? I've been meeting up with a girl for the past few weeks going on walks/runs together. This was all done via a mutual friend whom I've known for over 2 years hang out with and workout together at the gym.
  • I just started my shift. 7½ hrs to go. I did a 6 mile run yesterday morning with friends over in Seattle. Capitol Hill has some evil hills. (>_<) Typically after a good workout, I fall asleep easier but yesterday was tough for me. It was upper 80's during the day and I find it hard to sleep in warmer weather. I am tired…
  • I was diagnosed with type II back in 2009 by my doctor and he had me follow a Atkins-light ver. of it's diet along with taking various medications. A total of 5 different pills, not all were diabetes related, along with an injection. Even though I was HUGE at the time, 6'3 and about 20-25 lbs shy of hitting 500, he didn't…
  • I'll pass. The building I work in is small 3 story with about 300 personnel. Usually when they do potlucks there is some food left over for the night people to graze on and when it comes to doughnuts, there are never any leftovers. Yesterday was June 5th which apparently is National Doughnut day. Dayshift peeps brought in…
  • Why shouldn't you eat after 730? I work nights and know plenty of other people that do as well and have lost weight just fine.
  • I have gone to SDCC for a few years and though they say you are not allowed to bring food, they have never enforced it. I myself and others have packed our own lunches and never had a problem. I personally would not eat the convention food. It's a mix of good and bad stuff. Burgers, pizza, sandwiches, salads. It's very…
  • At work I use a pencil mostly. About 2 hrs into my shift and I misplace my pencil. I check under my seat and desk area, nothing. Oh well, no big deal. I grab another pencil and continue working. Time passes on and then suddenly I can't find my 2nd pencil. Now I thoroughly check my desk area, nothing. I get down on to the…
  • I ran across a YouTube link of it. The quality isn't the best and the audio sync is just a teeny bit off. I know there are plenty of streaming sites with much higher quality versions of it but I was at work and they frown upon visiting sites like those. Here's the YouTube link if you want to check it out. No clue how long…
  • Homenum Revelio Marriageitis!!! or for us that didn't get to go to Hogwarts, I guess Google is the next best thing. Sorry that he turned out that way. /=
  • S.L.O.W. It's the holiday, no one is coming in during the day, and barely anything to do. MFP and YouTube to help me stay awake. lol. Thankfully I am meeting some friends for a jog later in the morning after I get off work and I am looking forward to that. Oh and it's my Friday, can't complain too much. ( ^ _ ^ )
  • Hi welcome to the group. I'm also nocturnal in a way. I work graveyard 5X a week and have an erratic eating schedule as well. In all honesty, unless you have some medical needs for your diet, there really is no reason you have to follow a traditional Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner type of a schedule. I typically eat 2x a in day,…
  • I work nights too. 5+ years and all of my weight loss has come while working the night shift. I get in exercise when I can, I track my food intake and set a schedule I follow pretty consistently but above all else I place sleep as my #1 thing. I have found when I lack sleep, everything else suffers. I am too tired to…
  • I've read online that the pilot was leaked.
  • Hi! Have you checked out the MFP groups section? Here's a couple that may interest you http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/19-mfp-gamers http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/3566-the-geek-squid anyone is welcomed to join
  • Yep and since it is the holiday weekend, it will be dreadfully slow at my work. Thankfully that just means I can go outside for walks/jogs for longer periods of time.
  • There's a few threads on here of people meeting via MFP, dating and in some cases, marriage.

  • I use the Mio Fuse. It's not as robust in features like the Fitbit line is but the optical HR is more accurate than the Fitbit Charge HR/Surge.
  • Sounds like it could possibly be acanthosis nigricans. http://www.skinsight.com/adult/acanthosisNigricans.htm When I was heavier it really showed around my neck area and has almost entirely cleared up with my weight loss and no longer being diabetic.
  • I'm the opposite. I can't wait to hit the gym after work. On planned gym days I just go to work already wearing my work out attire. Luckily for me, my workplace is pretty laid back in terms of a dress code for us graveyarders.
  • http://www.dailydot.com/geek/black-widow-toy-ultron-motorcycle-replaced-captain-america/?fb=gk Not about the movie but about the toys and merchandise released for the movie. Really Disney/Marvel? I mean really? -_- I don't have any kids of my own but know plenty of people that do and that also have little girls that love…
  • It officially got renewed by ABC for a 2nd season. http://comicbook.com/2015/05/08/marvels-agent-carter-renewed-for-second-season/
  • When I discovered these I was well into my 400's and my thighs rubbed but they held up. Check out the Kingsize Direct website. They sell them too at a cheaper price but not as high quality as Under Armour.
