Having the "not quite empty" plate removed from the table is a great idea! It's so easy to keep nibbling after you're full if the food is sitting right in front of you. And....there's always that guilty feeling of wanting to eat more because you are paying for it.:ohwell: So send that plate away.

Well, I missed my June goals completely. In fact, the scale seems to be climbing slowly up. I am going to change my goal emphasis for July and leave the scale out of the equation. Hello, all! I got in my 15 minute walk on my dirt road again. My husband says that I'm walking about .7 of a mile. I'm still fighting to stay within my calorie goal. All I can say so far is that I'm closer than I used to be! Wishful

June goals, h-m-m-m. Now that school is out, I'm trying to regroup and relose the weight that I gained this spring. So, I plan(not hope!) to lose 3-4 pounds, eat lots of fresh vegetables and grilled foods, and exercise daily(even if it's only for a little while). It's good to be back.

So far the weekend eating is more in line with what it should be, but there's certainly room for improvement! A trip to the grocery store is what's needed. If you haven't used the reports tab at the top, it's a great motivator when you've been slack.:grumble: Bonnie

Well, I bought a rotissere chicken after work today, so I only had to add peas and pear halves to make a delicious supper. Having supper ready in just a few minutes kept me from snacking beforehand.
