OK, which cereals have you found that DON'T get soggy in the milk(assuming that they aren't left sitting a long time)? Post Raisin Bran Post Banana Nut Crunch(more sugary) I used to get the Fruit and Fibre cereals, but I can't find them anymore.

I just found the coolest site! eddieoneverything.com It has calculators for numerous restaurants, including some fast food. I used it to figure the calories on my Subway sandwich by adding exactly what I put on it!

Did you know that McDonald's has a side salad for $1.00 that has only 20 calories? Just add any dressing calories that you put on it!

Dry Spice rub
I found this on the internet today. I tried it on some raw chicken strips and then grilled them. Excellent! I want to try it on shrimp, too. These are ingredients I had on hand, which is always nice. Asparagus
Put low-cal Italian dressing(the oil type, not the creamy) on cooked asparagus. Top with pimientos and almond slivers. Chill thoroughly. Could use other toppings or no toppings at all except the dressing.:smile:

Lazy roast
Put roast in dish. Toss in a bouillon cube and 1/4 cup water. Sprinkle with dehydrated onion flakes. Seal with foil. Stick in 325 degree oven and ignore for 90 minutes. I tried stir-frying fresh green beans tonight. The results were less than satisfactory. How do I make them tender?

Got Juice?
I've noticed more fresh fruits than juice listed for breakfasts, snacks, etc. Why is that? I really love juice...grapefruit, apple, cranberry, orange, some blends.:drinker: :drinker: I have to admit though that I don't get in enough milk.:ohwell:

Sauteed squash and onions
non-stick skillet @1 1/2 yellow squash per person medium sweet onion salt and pepper Margarine-as little as possible, usually 1 1/2 tbsps(might be able to use less olive oil) Cut everything up into small pieces. Saute until very tender. Season to taste. Yummy.

The current nutritional climate would have us believe that the sea salt is more natural, therefore it is better for you. Is sea salt iodized? Why is one considered better?

Late breakfasts
Is there a negative to waiting to eat "breakfast" as a snack time around 10:00 instead of trying to fit it in before going to work? I'm really not hungry first thing in the morning, and time is always tight anyway.

Hey! I've just gotten motivated to lose the excess weight and wondered what kind of scales do you use to weigh on. I'm squinting at tiny pound lines on mine. Do you use digital scales? A particular brand name? Or do you just make your best guess at the closest line?
