bump. I have been wanting to do this but fear not committing after the expense. I lost over 50 lbs with healthy eating and exercise but lately I am not doing well with either. Need tone too. Will check back if I start and hopefully get some people to join for support. :)

Look at the ingredients label of your Fat Free creamer. It turned out the one I was using had high fructose corn syrup. That kills me worse than plain sugar or the fat included creamer hahahha. I went back to regular creamer but cut back on how much I used. I swear I noticed a little weight loss there. Then I weaned off of…

I do not run unless forced! Ha! I joke that I am learning karate because I cannot run away. I agree with many here. You still need to be active for the healthiest weight loss, but find something you enjoy. Even if you have to try several things until you find it.

I was not always heavy. Ironic; I was under weight most of my life and thought I was fat. Circumstances I do not want to go into made me actually fat. Right into obese and the mental hell that goes with it. I did start to work on it but it was not taking. Exercising and having problems with my bladder when bouncing was a…

I just downloaded a few calorie burn calculators apps (Droid) that had kettle bell in the list. Pretty general but at least a guidline. A few did list specific workouts. Might be an option around MFP missing it.

Oh, I like! Thanks!

I will check it out! Did not think of looking into books.

I do not log the entire class time. If it is pretty intense for most of the class, I log more. If it is a slower day, I log way less. Not exact but I use MFP exercise logging ballpark measure anyway so it has worked for me.

Looks excellent!! Thanks!!!

Exactly what I was going to say! They get in the way! HA!

There are all kinds of ways to get exercise. Some more fun than others. Look into joining something you think would be fun and fool yourself into the execise. Plus it gets you into a group that can motivate or the commitment, like paying for several months up front, may keep you going. I took up karate for instance. But…

I would love to ask you about Chi running. I am hoping to try this as I am a new runner who does not seem to know how to run! I have had Vibrams for years but I wear them for general wear. Love them and they are the only shoe that does not leave me hurting. Tried running in them once and about died. But I do not think it…

I have had great luck with Enel. Same problem. I went from barely there to a very full C, and probably beyond that for awhile. Enel is hard to measure for if buying online but I found it worth it. I have heard great reviews for Moving Comfort as well but have yet to try. Good luck!

Thank you for the wonderful responses! Good to know it is normal though it does not help to get motivated. ha I have injured my shins in karate a few years ago so I am sure that has not helped. I have heard this about the shoes but it is good to hear it from actual runners rather than advertisements. Right now that is…

I just started today too! Feel free to add me if you want to share rants.

Yoga pants breath and give you freedom (I like mine just below the knees, anything longer is too hot) and Enel sports bras are the best (well for me) for support if bouncing kills you.

Hi there! Humor me in if you would like!

I agree with the Enel. Best I have tried.

I am glad you asked this! I have been wanting to. I cannot run to save my life and have been wondering what to do. Glad I am not the only one and that there is hope! (now to get over the fear and dread of it). :)

Push Up - Woman. Does not always count your pushups but it catches most of them. Helps to guilt me into doing them.

How do you like the FitBit? I am interested but it seems glitchy by reading the forums and I wonder how you find it helps. THanks

HI! I train in Okinawan Karate, Shorin-Ryu Shorin-Kan along with my husband. I have been at it two years and have a green belt with brown stripe. I currently try to attend 4 nights per week. It is not that close to where I live. I also dabble in weapons, but I am currently not trying to get a belt in that. So far I have…

I love steam punk too! I do not get to dabble in it much (love Girl Genius) but I do have goggles! If I could get away with wearing a corset (and goggles of course) I would be a happy camper. Oh! A new goal!
