Still ongoing, 72lbs down.

If you're not having any more children, you could ask about an endometrial ablation. I had one with a tubal ligation in 2008. I've not had a period since. It doesn't always have that effect, but many experience significantly reduced periods or a total absence of them. If you are still planning children, an IUD or another…

I still feel the same way after 70lbs down. I can't really see it in the mirror, but I can if I put two pictures side by side. Hopefully my head will catch up!

Congratulations!

I didn't post on this thread much (or at all?) in June. I need to jump back in. SW: 281 CW: 211.8 GW: 180 This month's goals: Cut back on the mindless snacking and eat more thoughtful, planned food. I'm getting SO close to ONEderland. I know that it doesn't actually MEAN anything, but yesterday, for the first time ever, my…

That level of calorie intake is not meeting your body's nutritional needs. Get into your profile, put your starting/goal weight and level of activity, and eat the number of calories it tells you to eat. If you exercise, eat some of those back when you can (I try for about half). If you're HONEST with what you're…

Just under 15lbs to go to ONEderland. Still plugging away at this one.

You can't outrun/exercise your fork. Focus on the food first. Is there anything you can do to help manage the stress? Yoga helps me a ton (and helps with strength/flexibility). Can you find something OTHER than eating to do when you're stressed? If I feel the urge to binge, I start with drinking a whole bottle of water.…

I'm an RN. My full time job is a long-term care administrator. I also teach nursing part time.

I'm in nursing administration and a nurse educator. During the work day/week, it's all business clothes/dresses. I also ride a motorcycle, am a craftaholic (knitting, sewing, weaving, cross-stitch, vinyl/paper cutting), and play multiple instruments.

Great work! You're in ONEDERLAND!
-
Getting fitted for proper shoes eliminated it for me.
-
Are you weighing your food? EVERY bit of it? If not, I'd say you're eating more than you think.
-
I'm 38, and 63ish pounds into a 100lb weight loss goal. Feel free to add me!

NURSE HERE! Mostly nursing administration, but I do some midnights on the floor and teach nursing during the academic year! Man do those night shifts make it hard to track food/exercise. Is it today? Is it yesterday? Is it tomorrow? WHO KNOWS!

I did weight watchers a few years ago, and there were men there. If yours doesn't meet that need, create a space. Start a Biggest Loser challenge at work. Have people come up with weekly challenges. We did this at work. We had challenges for points (take a exercise class at least once a week for 6 weeks, get your…

Not exactly what you were looking for, but not all heroes wear capes. Some wear scrubs. Just trying these on (I bought them, lol)

Bolded for truth. I eat keto, but not because I believe that carbs are evil, or that there is any magic to ketosis. I find that I'm less hungry and more able to stay within my calorie goals on a lower carb, higher fat diet.

61 down. About 40 to go.

I put my DH's jeans on today, and they buttoned comfortably. I still outweigh him by around 20lbs, but I also have an inch and a half on him... I'll admit that getting into his pants usually means something ENTIRELY different.

This is a HUGE success! POST AWAY! PICS!!!
-
I keep it super simple. Meat (or eggs), veggies, and some source of fat. For dinner I just had marinated chicken leg/thigh quarters, and grilled zucchini drizzled with olive oil and with some Montreal steak seasoning. Cheap, simple, easy. Most of my meals look like this.

Great job! That's a huge difference!

Great job!

I'm 38 and started at 281. Currently 220.4. My food diary is open to my friends. Feel free to add me.

I met this goal. Now...I'm about 20lbs to ONEDERLAND. This one is going to take a while, I think, but I'm in it to win it.

Those machines are notoriously inaccurate. Either get a home machine and use the SAME one regularly to see a trend, or find someone who knows how to do a manual (more accurate) and get it checked.
