  • This is more of a Frappacino type thing but I blend 8.oz skim milk, 1 scoop chocolate slim fast, and instant coffee. It's AMAZING!!! And it has some good stuff from the slim fast. It's 200 calories.

  • Thank you for you input, everyone. I have a better understanding of the BMR AND TDEE calcs. I think since I'm just starting out I will stick with the 1200 calories according to MFP. If I need to adjust, I will. Thanks!!!
  • The article is very informative- I'm still feeling overwhelmed and a bit confused. I guess I will keep checking the boards and figure it out as I go.
  • I used a calculator and my BMR is 1555. My TDEE is 2401. Is 1200 calories a day ok? I think I'm over thinking all of this stuff. I never used to eat more calories if I had worked out but some would suggest that I do. I'm still confused.
  • No soda and no beer... This is tough!! Inject a watermelon with rum or vodka and let it sit over night. Slice it open for the party and bam! If you are allowing yourself club soda (I think u can get diet), mix it w white wine for spritzers. I have also used crystal light w vodka. Have fun!!!
  • I have also mixed cool whip with instant fat free/sugar free Jello pudding. It goes much further and is low in calories. You can even put it in a pie crust if you want to make a big dessert out of it.
  • So I just adjusted my goal and it reset me to 1200 calories a day. I still don't know if I'm supposed to stick to that even after working out.
