This may seem really silly but I'm new here. I didn't think calories were as important to watch as long as carbs are low. Am I all wrong?!

So there's a special calculator or I have to use the online one? How did I miss that in the introduction to this?! Thanks!

I love this!!! Especially the comparison of being 130lbs years ago when you didn't lift. Amazing :)

The OP might be VERY new to all of this; no need to be nasty. To the OP: it's only been 3 weeks, clean up your eating habits (more fresh food) and you will see changes soon. I don't think you have to eat totally clean but it does help. Good luck and keep going!

Congrats on the weight loss!!! I was around a 2/4 when I was 120 lbs but like everyone else said, it will depend on the brand.

Congratulations!! You look wonderful!

I'll try sticking it in my front. I think leaving it on the side will be too far away. I have the Polar FT4 which is waterproof so getting sweaty shouldn't be a problem... I hope!

Keep the pit in the side you don't eat and when you wrap it up make sure the plastic wrap is air tight. Oxygen hiting the flesh is what turns it brown! I do the same thing when I make guac. I smash the plastic wrap right on top of the guac and than put a lid on the container.

Congratulations!! You look awesome!

I used to do that and the idea of "starting over" always gave me an excuse to pig out up to that "start over" day. I've decided now that it's just an ongoing process. I overdid lunch today with calories so instead of scrapping the whole day and starting again tomorow I'll adjust the rest of my day. Starting over just does…

I like the blue but whatever goes with your wardrobe the best!!

I totally understand where you are coming from. There have been times in the past where I even avoided events because I knew I would miss a workout and be faced with tons of unhealthy food and alcohol. In college I drank like a fish and ate garbage and as long as I worked out I was fine. But those days are over. I've been…

Being stuck is SOOO frustrating!! Do I up my calories? Do I lower them? Do I work out more or less? Do I change the type of food I'm eating? There is so much information coming from every direction, it becomes too much. I'm finding seeing friend updates on my feed is just a nice way to keep motivated :)

Congratulations, girl!!!!

Anyone else out there???

I used to sit comfotably in the 140s and have been as small as 110lbs. This past year I put on a lot of weight and it seemed hopeless but I'm plugging along!!! I can't weight to get out of the 160s again!!! I can't seem to break that barrier.
-
WOW- that is amazing!!
-
I sent you a request- I think it's great to have friends on here with similar stats. I'm getting bored with my food and love to get new ideas!!

bump! I'm using mine right now :)

I'm 5'4 and want to get back to 140 but toned. I've been as low as 110 but no muscle and I was way too small. Size 0 was even too big!!!! I even wore kids clothes- that's not what I want anymore! At 140 I wore a size 6 with ease :) I'm now stuck at 160 and not moving!!

I love it!! I'm on level 2 day 4. You should start on level 1 and you will need hand weights and a yoga mat (especially if you have hard wood or tile floors). Most people spend 10 days on each level and there are 3 levels so that totals 30 days. Some people do it 30 days in a row, some people take weekends off, it all…

Truly AMAZING! Way to go!

My office used to be next door to one so I loved that promotion but I quit my horrible job, left the city, and the Starbucks barista is no longer my bestie :( However, I still do love an occasional frappucino or latte! You can get any of the skinny lattes iced and the grande ones come in around 125 calories I think. Thanks…

I just did the exact same thing myself. MFP told me 1200 calories a day which I had no problem sticking to but I stopped losing weight. I FINALLY took people's advice and upped my calories. I started losing again!! I'm now at 1350 a day :)

I started level 2 of 30DS today. I only lost about 3 lbs but the changes I see are amazing. I feel great and my clothes are already ftting WAY better!!!! I can see muscle definition in my arms!
