good morning all! :) did my W2D2 today! was a little warm out, but it still felt great! don't have a gym membership anymore at the moment so my only option is outside at the moment, and the weather over the weekend looks iffy! i might have to bump my W2D3 to next week and run 4 times next week. hopefully the weather ends…

awh, this is awesome! i definitely want to join! :)
-
woooo! hey hey hey. completed W2D1 this morning and enjoyed today's beautiful weather while doing so! super pumped for the rest of the week! :)
-
alright alright alriiiight! W1D3 complete! and i finally got outside, and it was really nice. have been REALLY lazy about my in-between days working out. as in i haven't been doing anything at all, yiikes. will definitely pick that up more next week lol keep up the great work everyone! stay strong :)

QUESTION FOR YOU ALL! i really want to run outside when i can, since, 5K's are generally outside lol. i was just wondering if you outside runners still go out even when it's 80-90 degrees outside? because with summer coming that's going to be a little hard to avoid :) thanks!!
-
good morning everyone! looks like we're all doing AWESOME! keep it up :) really wanted to run outside today, but the rain is gonna keep me inside again. ohhh well, what can you do, right? regardless, i'm excited for week 1 day TWO!! stay strong you firerunners! :)

i've been using salsa on salads instead of dressing! and i don't know if this is weird, but i also like cottage cheese on my wraps in place of mayo or dressing. hummus is good on wraps, too :)

WOO day 1 week 1 - complete. feelin great :)

love the name! and i'm gonna hit the gym in a little bit to get my first day in :) and also, just in case anyone is interested, i found this link with the c25k schedule broken down in treadmill intervals (if you didn't have a playlist or podcast to follow and wanted a super easy schedule to follow) & there is also a…

count me in as well! i've been running off and on for about a year now, but i'm still not awesome at it or anything. and, i've been planning on doing this anyways, since my goal is to be able to do a 5K, so this is perfect. good luck to everyone! i know we will all succeed! :)

weeeeeell.... i'm 5'6" and going for 140. :)
-
thank you! and i read the post from that link, and that totally makes you re-think things! it's so true that even when you think you're eating something healthy it might be a lot worse than you anticipated. definitely makes you think!
-
that's actually a really good way of looking at it, i'd never even thought of thinking that way about it. thank you! :)
-
this is super true, as well! and it makes sense, because i know i've had periods of time where i was probably eating too little and then would go binge crazy on food, and then i've also had times when i was probably eating too much. very valid point that i didn't even think of! thank you :)
-
thank you, everyone! i really like the idea of setting some sort of goal for logging in my calories. i think that way it will help keep me accountable for actually sticking to it for a period of time which would probably help not only get me used to eating the right amounts everyday, but also make logging more of a habit…

that sounds DELISH! i cannot wait to have my own kitchen to make these sort of things! awesome advice, thank you so much! :)

ugh, pizza!! one of the many foods that i just say "WHY" to. why does it have to be SO good yet sooo bad for you?! forever a mystery lol. good for you though for pushing through and getting back on track! new day, new attitude. good luck to you, as well! i know you can do it :)

i agree that today is a perfect, new day to start fresh again and start kicking some *kitten*. these extra pounds have WELL overstayed their welcome, and they need to go already! and i also agree that it's a day by day thing, and logging on BEFORE the binge is also a really smart idea! and if i did actually have my own…
-
oh man! mine says 137... those were the days! i'm still about 30 pounds over that. which means i packed on 30 pounds in 4 years. yikes! one day those numbers will true again! :)

i'd say don't worry about it! i think one of the biggest things about losing weight is not being too hard on yourself. you enjoyed yourself during celebrations in the way they should have been enjoyed, AND you worked hard as well. just gotta be proud of the work you did and know it's ok to enjoy yourself on occasion, just…

would looove to join this group/thread! a little late, but hey... better late than never, right? i haven't weighed myself in about a week, and i know at the time that i was insanely bloated and whatnot but i'll just use that weight anyways :) starting weight: 175 lbs goal weight: 145 lbs and just for fun, a little about…

starting the c25k today! :] i got into running more during the summer but have since then tapered off greatly. but even then, while i was starting to learn to like running (shockingly, lol) i never really eased myself into as i should have so my runs were never anything super significant. SO, i'm excited to working with…

this sounds like a great group! count me in :]

mine is always open! once in a while i don't record the full day, but for the most part i keep it up to date! and i added you :]
-
welcome! you've come to a great place to help with your journey. you'll love it here! good luck with everything :]
-
welcome! this really is a great site, i'm sure you'll love it, and good luck! :]
-
so gorgeous! what a transformation way to go! :]

these all sound great! i have also found that i don't like the weight loss challenges as much, since you CAN work towards a weight loss goal in a period of time but you never know if you're going to meet it or not, where as things like a goal of working out 500 minutes is something you can forsure control yourself, and…
