I think I remember (from previous discussion) it was listed at like 200 or 300 calories. Make sure you drink lots of fluids!

When I need some red meat - I tend to get Victoria's Filet (the 9 oz one because DH always wants some of my food). I ask for steamed veggies (with NO butter - you have to specifically request this, otherwise they are buttered). I don't eat the salad - not crazy about their salads for some reason, so the steak and steamed…

Hey I was born in Saginaw, and have family in the UP! Ya, we are yoopers, all right! In fact next summer, we're having a family reunion in Grand Marais (I love MI in the summer/fall - but after living in CA for decades, I just couldn't do the winters!!)

What's the name of your article? I'd love to check it out!
-
Ohhhhhhh - thank you! I get it now (obviously I'm not a Star Wars buff - that's DH's arena  )
-
I don't get the Yoda - there is no chai thing...someone please explain! (I guess I'm not a nerd? )

Mine is 133 - which is just about where I've been (130-135) lately! I do feel pretty "happy" with this weight

Trader Joe's Whole Wheat Pita bread is my #1 choice. It does have 130 calories for the whole pita - but no additives, and you could eat half.

General discussion: Did you like the book? Was it well written? Yes - I enjoyed the writing style - it grabbed my attention and did not let me go until the end! He writes with a clearly journalist style - descriptive words, sets the stage and helps the reader SEE what the scene is. Chapter 2: Do you think it’s important to…

Oh chin up Lauryn! I'm sure people will start posting this week (weekends tend to get distracted!) I, for one, DID read the book! I checked it out on Saturday (yes this past Saturday) from the library and finished it yesterday. I had to ask the librarian where the book was, because according to the computer, it was checked…

Oh and for some reason I also really like the smell of pine-sol and permanant markers.

Sandlewood, amber, myrrh are some of my favorites - I love the deep, spicy, mysterious scents. I absolutely cannot stand artifical fruit smells (lemon, orange, cherry, etc.) The REAL deal is fine, but the fake "cleanser-like" smells are icky!

Even after reaching 135 lbs (from my all time high of 192 lbs) - I still don't think I am slender, small, tiny, thin, skinny minnie - or any of the other things people have said to me since my weight loss. The funny thing is, when I was at my highest - I didn't think I was THAT fat. I think I have this constant image of…

At nine months - you can definitely start him on some "big-people food." Depending on how many teeth he has, make sure whatever you give him is soft and mashed up. If he has some teeth - you can give him peas, cut up green beans/carrots, etc. Avoid honey, PB, strawberries (all berries, really), nuts (anything hard - if…

I'm a BUSY mom of three kiddos, work full time, and my oldest two are on the swim team (practice every day), so I MUST exercise in the morning (530-630) since I'm at work all day, then busy shuttling kids, making dinner, homework, etc. in the evening. We are so busy during the week - TV is collecting dust!

I found them at Trader Joe's - it consists of ginger sliced very thinnly, dried, and coated very lightly with cane sugar. I've had crystallized ginger before - kind of sweet and gummy - but the ginger chips were crispy, more "gingery" and not so sweet - which I like!

I know what it's like to not be in the mood to run around, sweating  Lifting weights is fine - but you should still have SOME kind of aerobic exercise, even if it is a brisk walk around the park for an hour. I also hear it's good to vary your workout and keep your body guessing!

I haven't seen brown rice syrup, but I buy agave nectar from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods - I'm thinking you should be able to find it at Safeway, Bel Aire (I don't know about Super Wal-Mart). It'll be in the organic aisle
-
I like to use agave nectar, raw cane sugar or pure maple syrup. Stuff that is natural - but remember, just because something is natural, doesn't mean it is necessarily nutritionally healthy for you! Sugar is still sugar, and should be used sparingly. All in moderation

Some people say putting vitamin E oil on your skin help prevent stretch marks - I don't know - I tried that when I was pregnant, but I have them anyways. All over my lower stomach, inner thighs, one on my belly button, on my boobs - everything just blew up when I was preggers, sigh. My husband used to play college…

Yes, you can also rinse off the pickle before eating - but yeah - they are very low cal! I love pickles.

- String Cheese - Ginger Chips - Celery with PB - Whole Wheat Pita with goat cheese and cherry perserves - Fruit (Banana's are filling, pomegrantes are fun - keep your hands occupied for a long time, lol) (Almost all of my food comes from Trader Joe's! Love it!)
-
- Climb Half Dome (tried this spring - got snowed out - darn it!) - Swim Alcatraz Shark Fest next summer - Hike Death Valley next spring - Start training for a full marathon in Jan 09, and compete in the Honolulu Marthon either 2009 or 2010 (I'm NOT a runner, so this would be a feat of mass porportions for me.) - Learn how…

I wouldn't waste your money on lotions, etc. I believe they are, for the most part, just gimicks. I know I lost fat quicker than my skin bounced back. I've had three babies - three BIG babies  - and my stomach was unbelievable. So, now after getting from a size 16-18 down to a size 4 (this took me about 2-3 years) -…

Awwww! :smooched: Superifical beauty can hook a man, but it takes a deeper spiritual beauty to have a meaningful relationship. I certainly have issues with my physical apperances (another topic), but I am content with the person I am - that is reflected in how I live my life, and how I interact with others. I think the…

I know - I'm weird that way  I had all kinds of books when I was little - full of old (and I mean OLD) fairy tales (think grims brothers - not hans christian), etc. My mom plays the piano, and she had a bunch of old song books. I read everything I could get my hands on. I still remember bits and pieces. Do you…

Yes she can bake a cherry pie, Quick as a cat can wink his eye. She's a young thing, and I cannot leave her, mother.
-
2 minutes here - beat cha'! (with three kids and a messy husband - you get realllllly good at holding your breath  )
-
I'm weird about my food too - if it lives in water; I don't eat it - period. No tuna, no shrimp, no fish - you name it. Can't even do ceasar salad (real CS dressing has anchovy paste in it - uh huh...)

and in a house, and with a mouse... I will eat them here or there, Say! I will eat them anywhere! ....which is why I am here in the first place
