Isoohavethis- 30?

Under by 400 calories or more! I am assuming you have it to net 1200 calories too? I am just starting out, but it sounds like you are not eating enough ...

I am on day 9 of level 1, so this has me nervous! I did a few days of level 2 about 4 years ago!

Anyone??

I started Jan 2, 2013 (at least, that is when I got SERIOUS!!). I've only lost about 3lbs (my ticker does not show it because I started higher than my official start weight because of the holidays), but I can totally see/feel a difference. My face looks slimmer and my clothes feel a bit loser. Good luck!!

I'm done with having babies, but I wanted to give you a big ((((hug)))) having difficulty conceiving and wish you my sincere best wishes for getting healthy and pregnant in 2013. Depending on how much you need to lose, even 5% of your weight lost could make the difference. You can do it!! Your baby is waiting for you!

Also, I did not that my HR was out of my recommended range quite a bit. While the average was 86% of my maximum HR, it was often in the 95-100% range! I was probably working a bit harder than MFP would estimate? I should probably be taking it a tad easier at the outset, but I've been a jogger in the past so it does not…

I would expect them to be quite similar. It takes just X amount of energy to move you body that distance. Now the calorie burn diff between HRM and MFP ... that is a question I have too. I JUST did my very first run/walk with my new HRM and got 310 calories. MPF said something like 270. Not that much of a difference, but I…

i love 30 day shred! I have No More trouble zones, but not tried it yet.

Thanks ...That explains what you meant a lot more clearly that just implying that I am wrong and commenting that your frustrated by people who don't know as much about fitness as you.
-
Can you explain what you mean? If you are going to bother to post, why be cryptic about what you want to say? Please tell me what you would advise? I am running / walking doing a c210K program 3x a week, pilates or yoga 1x per week and Thirty Day Shred 3x per week.

Thank you! I see we are friend now, so we can keep our spirits up! I was just venting and looking for a little encouragement and any constructive feedback. I am so surprised that some people feel that need to say things that are not constructive. Implying that I've never stuck with anything and that I am "quitting already?…

I get that in 2lbs in 2 weeks is just perfect. i was just expecting more for just starting off. I would be thrilled with 1lb a week as a more regular outcome.

Aww thanks! The pic is from a trip to Rome in Sept 2012. You can't see my bottom half ;-)

Any chocolate peanut butter combo. Ewwwwwwww!!

I would count it as two, but I would not do this too often. If you want to exercise more, maybe some cardio or pilates or something? I would think the 30ds should be tough enough that want to it twice in a day! Maybe up the weights?
-
Lovely!! You rock!
-
No whole wheat bread? I agree too many carbs is trouble, but aren't whole wheat choices what we should have? Whole wheat pasta, brown rice? Oatmeal? Etc?

I'm 5'5, but I'm in the want to lose 30-40lbs category!!! I am currently about 179 and would love to be somewhere 135-140.

Thirty Day Shred by Jillian Michaels. BTW, anyone that is curious it is on YouTube if you want to check it out without buying it. When I was really successful with 30DS, I was also doing about 2 cardio sessions per week (like a jog for 30 minutes). I did not manage to do 30 days on. I did maybe 5-6x a week at BEST. I told…

My plan (just starting out) is this: Couch to 10K (3x per week) -- Right now, this is only taking me about 30 minutes but eventually will be closer to 45min-60min. 30DS (3x per week) Pilates or Yoga (1x per week)
-
My rule in the past has been if more than a week off, I start over that level. However, my NEW plan this year is to consider it a 90 day shred! I am only going to aim to do it 3x per week to leave room for pilates and my training for a 10K. I hope with the more relaxed expections I wil not be so sore when starting out /…
