check on www.foodnetwork.com I have seen several recipes on that channel. I know that Giada DeLarentis has made a few. I made a salad of hers with it. Just type in quinoa under recipes. It will bring them all up for you! :)

I have gone to the database on mfp and typed in the food (ex. chili) and checked out how much other people have posted for serving size. The database is a really good source for info like that!

Hang in there. As a female I need 1200 calories at minimum. My husband needs a minimum of 1800 calories. it is true that if you dont have enough calories your body goes into starvation mode. Dont give up. I know that it makes no sense to eat more to lose more, but it does work.

Taco bell works well if you get a taco salad with no tortilla bowl. Cuts the calories huge!!!! I also ask for no rice. Cuts the carb issue. As for the other places... salads. Sorry they are your best bet. Good luck!
