I "started" 130 days ago. It took me a month of being on track for a week, off track three days, repeat , repeat... to finally realize it takes a FULL commitment, no half assing it with Mother Nature, you can't fool her. Everyone above is SOO right... when you really want it, more than you want the "pleasure" of indulging…

Hi I'm 42 and have lost 11 pounds in the past two months. It is slow going, this is true. It is also slow going for me getting an exercise program going, but I don't give up, I just keep it moving forward. I find that the lower the carbs and the higher the protein the faster the weight loss. I also try to fill up my belly…

You (ccmzone) just wrote the same message to my post not two minutes ago. Yawn.

Thanks crafty & Cam! Definitely works for me when I participate with others. Accountability and encouragement.

I love my NutriBullet and use it daily for my lunch. I guess I'm kinda boring cause I basically make the same one every day. Spinach, half a banana, 3/4 cup blueberries, and one other fruit (a couple strawberries or a couple slices of peach or apple or mango). And one scoop of whey vanilla protein powder. Ya gotta measure…

I'm a big fan of my Nutri- Bullet, which liquifies the peels and seeds so you aren't discarding anything.

Very well said. I agree, you can't change everything in one day. Feel free to add me as a friend, I am actively logging and participating again. Good luck!

Sorry you're feeling this way, but you say it all in your title. I try to only compare myself TO myself. Be nice to yourself, be gentle. Others are so harsh and the world is nuts, so we have to be careful how we treat ourselves, and how we talk to ourselves. Ok, sounds like I'm lecturing sorry. Hope you feel better.

congrats on your commitment to self. not to mention you look freakin" great. Just wanted to let you know your words of wisdom on Diet, Exercise, and Determination are now in huge print on my fridge, so thanks.

thanks for your thoughts everyone. I know I feel better and have a better nights sleep on an "empty" stomach. My body has a chance to restore itself instead of concentrating all its energy on digesting. But you guys are right, calories are calories. Have a great day:)
