Hello! I'm Alli from Manchester but currently based in Cumbria. I've lost about 60lbs & have 15lbs to go before I get to goal. Although I'd be over the moon to get to goal, I'm more focused on body fat percentage & fitness at the moment. I log on here daily & work out 5/6 times per week (incorporating strength & cadio). In…

Forgot to mention that you can add diced sweet potato to the recipe too which is delicious & serve on its own instead of with rice!

Most days - I generally eat what I want (within reason). I plan in advance (usually a week at a time) with all my meals & leave a bit of room for a little treat, so if I want something, I have it! I've lost about 60lbs & this method has always worked for me .

Hello! I'm 24 & from the UK also. I've lost about 60lbs - so hopefully I'll be able to help you out a little with you having a similar goal to mine when I originally started out. I still have a little more to go but focusing more on body fat % & toning now - I've also just started C25k again! I log daily, so feel free to…

Have a look on their website at their menu so you can try and plan in advance. Not actually sure how much they offer at our local one but I know in some chains they have a 500cal or under section! Plus, we'll be going to kettlebells anyway so you'll burn off a few hundred cals even if you do choose something a little…

Hello! I'm Alli, from Manchester but currently living in Cumbria. I've lost around 4 stone & don't have too much to loose now either! I'm focusing more on body fat % / toning at the minute so not too concerned about what the number on the scale says. I'm on here daily & log every day.. My dairy is also open to friends so…

Sorry this may be a dumb question... But why the hell does your driving licence have your weight on?! (I'm from the UK -the only thing on mine is a horrendous picture! Ha)

The title of this topic made me giggle :) You look fantastic - well done! :flowerforyou:

Weekly or every other week & I always weigh in first thing in the morning. I wouldn't suggest weighing anymore frequently than weekly. Some people weigh daily, but as weight can fluctuate a fair bit due to water retention etc. you won't get a true reading. It can also be very disheartening to see the scale go up if you're…

Feel free to add! I'm 24 & from the UK. Towards the end of weight loss now & focusing more on body fat % / toning, but still need a lot of support & will help support anyone in any way I can!

Ditch the scales & take measurements instead!

None :)

I personally would feel like I was gonna pass out if I attempted to work out with nothing on my stomach! But if it's worked for you - great stuff! :)

This was a problem which I had! I wouldn't class it as 'binging' but I was always SO hungry when I got home from work that I'd eat the first thing which I could get my hands on, usually toast/crisps which would satisfy me until dinner was cooked. It always made me feel like crap because those extra few snacks made me go…

Impressive :D Congratulations! When I first started weight loss I couldn't run 60 seconds without having to stop, when I finally ran 5k I was so proud of myself & I'm sure this is how you're feeling now! You have done amazingly - you'll be running marathons in no time

Vodka lime and soda! Or laffy daffies as we call them in the UK!

Well done for taking control again! It's so easy to fall back into old routine, but the main thing is - you've nipped it in the bud now (so to speak), sooner rather than later! I know it's massively disappointing gaining weight, but try not to be too hard on yourself. Remember - everyone has their bad days/weeks/months,…

This happens to me a lot too - don't worry about it - it's normal. Our weight fluctuates a lot due to a number of factors. Try focusing on inches lost rather than the number that appears on the scale!

Amazing improvement.. Well done & keep it up :-)

I would recommend seeing your GP who can prescribe medicated ointments etc. However, I have always suffered with very sensitive skin & also acne rosacea (a form of acne). At one point my whole face was nearly double the size due to the amount of swelling caused by the spots (yuck!) & my skin was peeling really bad - trying…
