FitBit's are great - but they don't monitor your heart rate - You'll need a HRM (heart rate monitor) to do that. I LOVE my FitBit, but the sole purpose I use that for is for calculating my steps & it encourages me to get up and move around much more when I'm at work sat in the office. FitBits are great, but it really is…

Between £80 - £110 per week (Depends whether I need cleaning products etc.) But typical food shop would look something like... Veg & fruit (depends what I've planned to make for the week, but typical things are: Lettuce, greens, Stir fry veg pack, onions, garlic, bag of mixed peppers, new potatoes, green beans, cucumber,…

I love 'The Hairy Dieters' books. They have a whole section dedicated to 'Fakeaways!'. The books are about £10 - would highly recommend having a look at them. You may be able to find some of their fakeaway recipes online for free!

I wouldn't worry yourself over 0.4lbs. As most have said, could be due to many things - probably water retention. To be honest, I wouldn't even be concerned if the number was must higher. I've been on holiday for almost 3 weeks & 'gained' 7lbs. I knew the majority would be water due to the amount of crap that I drank/ate &…

Sounds good! What section are they found in? Are they fresh in the fridge?

I used to have this often if I was in a rush, but annoyingly my local Tesco has stopped selling it?! (if it's the one I think you mean with the black turtle beans & mixed peppers in?!). M&S do a similar one but a little higher in calories & price - SOOOO good though!

I log my spices as I use quite a lot in most of my meals. Even though it might only be 2-3 calories for a tbsp for most of the spices I use, it soon mounts up when you use a fair bit daily!

I agree! The South Korean diet looked yummy!

I think Ireland was 33 or 32! I know it came in just before England.

It was on Channel 4 - so you'll be able to catch it on 4OD

Yes! My Mother is Italian so I've been very lucky growing up. As you say, I think the key with the Italian diet is their attitude towards food & how much emphasis is put on sitting down & enjoying our meals as a family. We always spent a minimum of an hour at the dinner table in the evening when I was growing up (much…

Just been to the butchers & bought lots of chicken & steak. Think packing plenty of calories into shakes will be…

I often cook my chicken with skin on as it does keep it moist! I remove the skin before eating & count it as 'skinless chicken breast'.

Congratulations on your loss so far - that is AMAZING! Doing something you enjoy is really important, so if you enjoy swimming - then swim! Anything that gets you moving is a good place to start. I agree with Gypsy, home videos are a great way to start. Not only can you do them in the comfort of your own home, but they're…

I eat a lot of fruit & it's never impacted on my goals, however, I still eat a good amount of proteins & fats along with the carbs!
