  • I can't believe that cheesecake was wasted on rats! :noway:
  • Hey. 24, from Manchester originally, but currently living in Cumbria. I could do with some more UK based friends too! I love having friends from all over the world, but I'm starting to run outta meal/snack ideas & we don't have access to a lot of the products over in the US, for example - so it would be great if I could…
  • awesome progress! I'm starting T25 next week - hope my results are as good as yours :) Keep at it!
  • :flowerforyou: well you're back - that's the main thing! It can be time consuming logging absolutely everything you eat & entering the NI if the information isn't already entered into the website (or often correcting incorrect info), but once it's done, it's done! You'll probably find that you eat a lot of the same things…
  • Amazing!! You look brilliant - you must be so proud! Good luck getting to your next goal :flowerforyou:
  • ^^ This. Try not to focus too much on the number on the scale as it will fluctuate. Take measurements & measure yourself every 2 weeks or so. Lost inches are the true measure of success in my opinion :)
  • I eat when I genuinely feel hungry. If I feel hungry & I only ate an hour or so ago, then I drink some water & see how I feel once I've had a drink. If I still feel hungry, then I'll have a piece of fruit or something light. I generally eat my meals at the same time, but snack as often as I feel I need to, whilst of course…
  • Weetabix & Quavers :) (not sure if you'll have these if you're outside the UK) but I suppose you'll have an equivilant! Let the Weetabix soak up the milk to allow them to go nice & soft! Hope your mouth heals fast for you!
  • Never seen these in M&S but they sound sooooo good! Deff gonna look out for these at weekend :) Although my nearest M&S is 15 miles away & they don't stock half of the stuff you can get in the bigger stores across the country! Hope they have them in!!
  • You look awesome! Nice to see some 'before & after' pictures of someone who had a great body before, but still strived for something more & has achieved it through hard work. Well done!
  • Chocolate (although, I eat this most days anyway!), veggie pizza & sticky toffee pudding mmmm!

  • You look fantastic! So much happier! Congratulations.
  • About 210lbs, 2010 150, 2014
  • You're totally right, we shouldn't stress so much - instead we should be enjoying our time with friends/family. I know exactly what you mean about the emphasis on food.. My family are Italian/Ukrainian & food is the centre of everything they do!! I was away for 5 days last week & I ate/drink (which felt like a lot at the…
  • If I can't fit them into my macros for the day, generally have a little pot of sugar free jelly or a couple of marshmallows! Also, freezing some red grapes are delicious & really do the trick for me, they turn into a kinda sorbet & are lovely & sweet!
  • A photo from my 21st birthday with my Mum in NY. I was too embarrassed to share any of the photos with family/friends because I was so fat! It was as though I had been living with my eyes closed for the past 5 years & suddenly I saw what everyone else was seeing! YUCK!
  • I have the flex and I love it! I perhaps would have gone with the zip having my time again as the band starts to look pretty grubby after a couple of weeks & sometimes have to remove it when going to events etc. as it looks a bit scruffy! Also the band has come off on a few occasions, luckily I've always found it but I was…
  • Yep but also as many have said, I eat a lot more on rest days
  • Hahaha I love this! (not laughing at your pictures - just your descriptions tickled me!). I've found out over the last few years that it's key to have a good sense of humour when going through this life changing process - if you can't laugh at yourself then you have no hope in my opinion! Good on ya for posting these…
  • You can do loads of things with turkey breast mince! It's cheap & 500g makes me around 4 meals (usually do 2 different meals with it). You can substitute any recipe which uses minced/ground beef for turkey breast mince instead, which is super filling & healthy. I make, turkey meatballs, bolognaise, chilli, burgers etc.…
  • Wow, well done you!! You look so much happier & younger :flowerforyou: Best of luck with the rest of your journey.. Keep going!!!!
  • You look brilliant! A huge well done to you :flowerforyou:
  • Amazing progress!! Well done!!! Keep at it & you'll soon see the results!
  • My hips are around the same size & I'm currently in a UK 10/12.
  • There's a lot of opinion about eating calories back or not. Me personally, I eat the same number of calories regardless whether I work out or not (unless I do a ridiculous burn & then I eat some back). Saying that though, I'm not eating a stupidly low number a day either. I eat around 1700-1800 a day which is my TDEE - 20%
  • I use gold standard and I LOVE it. I've used loads of different brands, but gold standard is deff the best tasting one I've had. They All do the same job but some have more added crap than others! Look for something which is 100% whey.
  • Yep, I have long(ish) thick hair, plus I have a fringe. I tie my hair in a bun when I work out & clip my fringe back so it doesn't get all sweaty! I wash my hair every other day in the evening. I use dry shampoo on the days when I've worked out & not washed my hair. I generally have a shower when I get in from the gym &…
  • As many have said, this is the first step to changing your way of life - stick at it & you'll see results. I started at around 210lbs in 2010 (at the age of 21) with a BMI of 34.8 & I'm now around 70lbs lighter & have a BMI of 24 which puts me in the 'healthy' range. I know exactly how you feel & can relate to your story.…
  • Yep! Chances are though that you won't like the body you're left with from just diet alone. I lost 50lbs from doing very little exercise & I was left with a body that I hated more than the fat one I had before!! I started exercising properly after 50lbs & started introducing strength & cardio into my daily routine & I'm so…
  • haha this made me smile :) feel free to add! :flowerforyou:
