I would not, it has flour in it. Trader Joe's has a decent brown rice bread. You always freeze gluten-free bread and always toast it (GF bread is so gross non-toasted). Ener-G brand is gross to me, as most brands are. Food For Life has great almond/pecan and or brown rice freezer bread, good toasted or warmed up only. the…

I think you can use only 10% in recipes, it's very dense and will take a lot of moisture. I accidentally use too much all the time and then regret it, it gets dry. I love almond flour for baking, that works great.

My son has mutliple food allergies including wheat and egg, so here are some quick ideas I have (I also am dairy/wheat/gluten-free)... In all my baking I use applesauce for an egg replacer, 1 unsweetened cup (those cups they sell it in) equals about 2 eggs. I buy mixes like cake mixes from The Cravings Place or Namaste and…

Hi, I'm new to this and hearing of it. I did last summer run 2 miles in 1/2 mile increments (walk 1/2 a mile, jog 1/2 a mile). I started with 1/2 mile, worked up to a mile, then 2 and I would walk 3 miles. But the weather (Seattle area) took over and has been cruddy for a very very long time. So I'm doing it again. This…

At home, outside and the Mill Creek or Mukilteo Ymca. I do ellitpical there, weights, bike. I am not brave enough to do a class yet, I feel like I need to work myself up there more, just as I am trying to with hiking (I can do 4 miles, but working my way up to 6 or 8). And I am also trying to work myself up to 2, then 3…

Sounds great in theory- but doesn't happen with a lot of thyroid folk. I could only wish that a little thyroid pill would do the trick, if that were the case, all those millions of people who take thyroid meds would never be overweight due to thyroid.

You are like me in that you really do carry your weight well. You do not look 214, you looke 165, no joke. Awesome job!!! I cannot wait to post progress pics. I am down 22 and gaining tons of muscle, so I'm going to post pics in maybe 20-25 more pounds.

So 155 I probably looked 135 so that's what was frustrating for…

Loud Boisterous Braggers Drama magnets. Huge Egos People who don't help/care about other people and only think of themselves Bad teeth/Bad grooming in general/not changing socks for days at a time, cutting toe nails often enough, wearing hole-y clothes/not dressing nice when needed, etc. Crassness like swearing a lot,…

Ground turkey breast salsa (with tomato, onion, etc.), use a lot. Organic Romaine lettuce Can of Organic Kidney beans mix for a "taco salad". No need for tortilla chips/tortillas, sour cream or ranch or anything.

Sounds good but I would do apple cider vinegar, white vinegar makes me too suseptible to Candida Yeast stuff and liquid stevia instead of Splenda. I normally use olive oil with my apple cider vinegar, but this would work and/or lemon juice too.

I like 1 the most. But 2 is really cute I think it's the sash or sash color that's hitting me wrong otherwise the dress is very vintage-y...love it. It would be better to see the full on heels/necklace/hair done too LOL. Really you could do any of them but I'm not a fan of 3.

I use hand weights, kettlebell. Trampoline, mini one for jumping jacks, aerobics, jumping, etc. Stepper for step aerobics, leg lifts, calf lifts, etc. or stairs. Stairs for legs. Push ups, sit ups, crunches, burpees, mountain climbers, lunges, cling and jerk, and squats all good at home even with cans of soup as weights.…

Leptin? L-Carnitine? Coconut OIl? Brown Seaweed- I forget the name. There are some others. I take salmon oil for many reasons, but it does not help me with wt. loss. I also take brown rice protein powder since I am dairy-free/soy-free/gluten-free and it has aminos in it. I hope that is enough to get results I am looking…

Wow in just two months!??? Great job! Note to self: weight life more!

I'm in the same boat as you -22 lbs, scale hasn't been moving in a couple of weeks, barely for 3 or 3.5 weeks and I workout and eat the same as you it seems, 100 carbs or less from only fruit/veggies and maybe oats or brown rice.

Thanks for the encouragement. I did do an hour and 23 minutes at the gym today this time it was the weight machines and I think on Thursday I will do the free weights. I'm motivated that's for sure! 4 lbs a month would equal my 30 I need for the year. I guess I was sooo used to losing 1.5-3 lbs a week, I'm just anxious to…

Wow, huge difference. It doesn't even look like you have 25 or 30 more.

I don't really pay attention to net calories. I just aim for 1700 or anywhere from 1400-2100 per day and workout 70 mins per day. My net calories says 800 sometimes or 900, I feel full though so I'm not sure how that works but when I stop losing maybe I'll figure it out more.

Thyroid comes to mind, I was dieting/working out in the past and it was my thyroid all along but took years to diagnose. Soy made it worse as I ate tofu scrambles and soy milk lattes often. So it matters your hormones/health condition, what you eat and etc as well if you are not seeing results. Also the only thing that…

A Tablespoon of Raw almond butter always does the trick for me. You can add a glass of coconut/almond mixture beverage as well. I make awesome almond butter cookies (no grains), egg white, with mini chocolate chips, just a few.
-
Absolutely. You can see it in your arms face and your stomach. Your waist area is more defined now.
-
A heaping spoonful of raw almond butter always does the craving trick for me. I don't know why.

I love yogurt, but I'm dairy-free so I only eat the coconut yogurt by So delicious/Turtle Mountain brand. Why eat it if you don't like it? There are lots of protein alternatives out there...and you can take probiotics.

I agree with everyone here that the calories are too low. Other reasons; thyroid, too much soy and things that interfere with hormones/metabolism. Artificial Sweetners, etc. Even though docs say you are fine, it can take years to get a thyroid diagnosis. But I'm sure it's just you need about 400-600 more calories per day.…
