Fasting can be great for cleansing. I fast on some days from sunrise to sunset. I wake up and have a small meal before the sun rises, and then break my fast at sunset with a nutritious meal. I find the longer you go, the easier it gets and you also cannot fit as much food, so you eat less.

I think I'll start this soon too! I started it January 2012 and kept it up till May when I ran my first 5k with a time of 27 minutes. Now I want to start up again, it's a good a time as any! I have Robery Ullery's podcast and I used that to train. What about you?

I love it so much, I try and make it last a little longer so I make a type of dip/spread. I mash it, add a 1/4 cup salsa, 1 tbsp lemon juice, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. BTW did anyone else get the immense pains in the upper back? At first I couldn't figure out why I even had pain there, I thought I hurt myself but then I realized it was because my muscles were SORE from working them out! That's definitely a first.
