Obviously you are going to get opinions when you ask a question on here ? They are eating at a calorie deficit, a large one to lose weight fast. If they are losing 2 lbs per week, they are eating 1000 calories under their TDEE per day. If they are losing 3 lbs per week, 1500 calories under/day

3 days strength training is great IMO. :) I started with 5x5 myself and then modified from there after I was used to it. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/560459-stronglifts-5x5-summary But you can also do body weight training like this type of stuff, which I also do at home quite a bit.…

I agree that you look great!!! And I'd definitely put more emphasis on strength training over cardio and look into a routine with barbells, like stronglifts 5x5. Not saying drop the cardio completely if you enjoy it but just more time into lifting. :smile: Good luck! ETA You could definitely build a routine around body…

I'd be concerned that the muscles you work on your lifting days aren't getting enough rest if you are working them with lighter dumbbells, push ups etc, on non-lifting days. :smile:

LOL I don't log anything that I think might be included in my calories MFP already gives me. That certainly includes sitting. I've seen people log showering, cooking, etc. But I think MFP counts those already..... I log walks and stuff that typically "counts" as exercise. Sometimes I have to move about 20 boxes full of…

I started in February 2011 with mostly exercise bike. Around May, I started adding in Jillian DVDs. Then maybe starting around July I had switched to mostly Jillian DVDs I love No More Trouble Zones and Ripped in 30. And I love the Body Revolution workouts too, but I don't think it's necessary to spend the money on that.…

What I'd do is set your activity level on mfp to lightly active and it should give you a couple hundred extra calories for that. I sit at a desk all day so I have mine set at sedentary.

Your article pretty much says it.... Walking is great exercise IMO but running burns more calories, doesn't matter if they are calories from fat or calories from carbs....

Now I mostly do DVDs, plus a couple of walks per week and rollerblading maybe once per week. I do Jillian Michaels DVDs a lot. I love her No More Trouble Zones.
