This is what I have been told as well. Protein powder and protein bars are processed but still have good nutritional value so they are a better choice than fast food or other processed foods and a good way to keep protein levels up while trying to maintain a 90% or so clean eating program.

Wait until your feet shrink TOO and you have to get new shoes. I had no idea that was one of the things that happened and I only lost 20 lbs!!!

If you give up diet soda and in exchange drink coffee with sugar-free creamer or crystal light, aren't you in essence drinking the same thing without the fizz? It's the fizz I believe I'm addicted to. I am ready to give it up, but sounds like I'd have to give up sugar-free creamer and any crystal light or additive to water…

Pictures please! Those are crazy results. So you do not have trouble with the sodium levels in the pre-made lunch meals? I would bloat up like a balloon and gain 2 lbs on the scale from sodium/water retention. Have to avoid them at all costs.

Your dress should reflect how you want to feel about yourself. Your outward appearance will inspire your inner self to take it up a notch. You can find motivation in this experience - you just aren't looking deep enough.

I got rid of mine which forced me to stay on track because I don't have the $$ to shop. Difficult enough to buy the new stuff for the new size... I sure don't want to spend money I don't have on clothes in a bigger size again :) DONATE, DONATE, DONATE Or alter what you can alter such as waist's for work pants, etc.

Just a quick note - 10 eggs for 1.50 euro and you said that would just be one meal. You should get 5 breakfasts out of 10 eggs - 2 a day...... that's pretty inexpensive protein - definately a great choice.

Interesting post as I just popped in my Pilates DVD this morning and did 20 minutes as I am just getting back into the swing of things and want to do something every day. I really enjoyed it. I can't testify as to whether or not it tones as I've just started but it feels good. I did abs and flexibility. Give it a try!

I agree with the sodium. Even in the healthiest choices restaurants add to flavor. A grilled salad I get on a regular basis has OVER a half of a day's sodium in it in one small salad. I have to say that I am surprised weight is just falling off with little exercise, alcohol intake, and a couple of sandwiches for breakfast and chips for lunch.
