  • Great job!!! You look wonderful and proud!!!!
  • I feel the same way - Level 3 is a total challenge for me which I welcome after getting a little bored with 1 and 2 :) I purchased Ripped in 30 last night to start as soon as I'm through with Level 3 30DS!!
  • So glad I saw this topic! I have been bored with 30DS - my third attempt at trying to "Get through it". I finally got to level 3 and man it kicked my butt - literally could not walk properly for 2 days!! What a difference level 3 is to level 2. Anyway I am going to get through level 3 and start Ripped in 30 - thank you for…
  • I would recommend an abdominal workout 3 times a week however just to target those muscles - they will help support the rest of your body as well. You can define the muscles that exist under the layer of fat and skin and it will tighten things up a little. I would recommend Jillian Michael's 30 day shred which has an ab…
  • Physically not possible.
  • Very true! But I can't think of what other veggies would be good in there and my family and I are just not bean fans :(
  • Thanks ladies!!!
  • I agree - that one looks DELISH and exactly what I was looking for!
  • Yep sounds right to me! Awesome burn - great job!
  • Jillian's 30 day shred id 22 minutes including warm up and cool down - all 3 levels are the same length - they just build up in intensity. Level 2 is very different than 1, and 3 is like a totally different workout DVD!!!
  • Definitely the sodium and the food selection. A 22 ounce glass of diet soda can't put on 3 pounds. It's not mathematically possible. Not even regular soda.
  • I am doing 30 DS but haven't changed anything in my diet. Only logging 150 calories burned for a session so I eat back those calories when I want to like any exercise calories.
  • www.mygrocerydeals.com - use this website. Choose all the stores within a 100 mile radius of you, then take your list to Walmart grocery store and they will match all the prices. I have been saving $10 - $20 a week with this and not having to shop at particular stores wasting gas. Ground beef for 2.99 instead of 4.68 in…
  • Made it to the 2 week mark today :)
  • Takes no space at all. The biggest space you need is to do the "skiier" side to side cardio for 60 seconds.
  • Yes I found it to have the real coke taste so I never got into the zero thing after acquiring the taste for the diet. And yes indeed, I agree - I wish I could eliminate all bad from my life! I need a bigger challenge!! But baby steps at least puts us in the right direction.
  • Opting for regular soda over diet soda is only eliminating the artificial sweeteners and is bringing in real sugar. There's no health alternative by switching. It's basically eliminate all or not.
  • Coke Zero is the same as diet coke though. Just a different taste. Still all the chemicals, caffeine, and artificial sweeteners. And good job for quitting!!!
  • I just quit a 24 year habit 10 days ago so I'll join in 10 days ahead of the game. However, we won't really know any long term benefits, if ever. So basically you're just talking cravings, weight, etc. correct?
  • This is the issue as outlined above. Maybe not the "deep in the bones" part as I don't believe bones hold fat. It's more than being about the artificial sweeteners. They are in almost anything we eat or drink to watch our weight. From Crystal Light which is said to be "healthy", to coffee creamer, too many to mention. But…
  • I would recommend Jillian's 30 day shred before doing P90X or Insanity. It's less than $10 in Walmart. I just made it to level 3 and holy boot camp hard compared to level 1 and 2. I think it's the perfect progression for you to get a base going for 30 days before starting P90X. Good luck!!!
  • For your basis user like me who just wants better accuracy on my calorie burn it seems the chart shown on your link for the FT7 would suffice. Do you agree?
  • I have to agree with you. Tje Plyo is awesome. I didn't get much out of Cardio X. And Kenpo X kept changing up the moves so much I couldn't grasp it and get a decent workout.
  • You lost 15 lbs in 2 weeks from quitting diet soda? Were you eating more calories because you were drinking diet soda? I never heard such a thing. I just quit diet coke Friday of last week so I'm just on day 5. No change in weight because I have not changed my diet at all. Just stopped drinking the soda. So - what was your…
  • I feel like once you go to 3 times a week workouts instead of the 6 that the maintenance will be correct and it will take care of itself but right now your metabolism is still on fire and being stoked regularly with the 6x a week.
  • I am not sure if you know anyone with the P90X program but part of that is a 16 minute work out called Ab Ripper and it is excellent!!! 350 ab moves and a cool down in 16 minutes.
  • Thank you! I do have a nike band to track my runs - time and pace - but I use MFP for the calories burned which is less than what my Nike band shows. I am getting a heart monitor for my birthday so I can actually track my 30 day shred burns (if any) and my Zumba workouts. Having never been close to my goal I appreciate the…
  • I'm really not sure as I don't have a kitchen scale. I could be underestimating my intake but I really don't eat large portions. It just seems I choose the wrong things to eat. Like take-out. But when I cook at home I make very small portions so I don't feel like I am really eating more calories than I am tracking. All was…
  • Thanks again. I added my sodium and saturated fat trackers. The sodium that MFP gives me for a daily limit seems as if I'm not going to go over very often so maybe that's not it? Just when I think I have the carbs or the low glycemic index worked out, something like sodium sidetracks me. :) I don't drink nearly enough…
