Thank you everyone. I wasn't referring to the cultures as junk. Obviously this is the primary reason to eat the yogurt. I was reading containers at Walmart and got frustrated and gave up. I don't recall the brands but this post makes me more comfortable that I can find something without additives and extras. Thanks again…

So on the website for stronglifts 5x5 this is a site directed to male lifters but I'm going to see what I can do to start. Thank you!

I have a weight bench with a bar and various weights. I have dumb bells also, and I have a 15 and 25 lb kettlebell.

FABULOUS RESULTS - great work.
-
This is great but how much can you contribute to running and lifting vs. the 30 day shred - seems like your results probably came from those 2 things first then shred. You look amazing!
-
HOW DID YOU DO THIS WITHOUT HAVING ANY EXCESS SKIN HANGING AROUND OR STRETCH MARKS?!!! YOU LOOK FABULOUS!!!!!!!
-
Are you taking classes or doing it at home? If at home, what program are you using please & thanks???

I have lost 3 different times in my adult life - all on Atkins. And the reason it has been 3 different times is because it always comes back going this route. Now, this time in my life, I am doing it the slow route - 1 lb. a week and I am thrilled to death! Sometimes it's not even 1 a week. Sometimes it's 1 over 2 weeks.…

My cardiologist, no I do not have his credentials, told me this week that giving up soda was a great move for my overall health. He said all soda, diet or regular, is full of toxins that are bad for our body (as well as many other things we eat or drink). It's just a matter of choosing your poison (food or beverage). I…

My thought is that cutting out "processed" food cannot be bad for you. Yes you are restricting yourself and saying no to certain foods but why shouldn't you? Just because we live in an "I want everything so I will have it" world doesn't mean processed foods are good for you. Eating as close to nature as possible is the way…

I use a HRM and I burn 420 for a 60 minute class - I am 145 lbs. When I was 160 lbs. I burned about 550.

This is exactly true! Everything that is added to our foods now are bad for us. So since we can't go back to the 60's and 70's we can only educate ourselves to the best of our ability and know that what "they" say today will only be contradicted by what "they" say tomorrow. Enjoy your Coke Zero. :)

I've put off getting back into something long enough. I own Ripped in 30 and haven't done it yet. I'm in, too.
-
Awesome inspiration. Thank you so much and congratulations!!!

How long did it take you to feel "fit" enough to survive Insanity? I can't get through it and I thought I was in decent shape. :(
-
NOT ONLY HAVE YOU LOST POUNDS YOU HAVE LOST YEARS OFF YOUR LOOK - WOW I AM TOTALLY AMAZED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Not true. I have made "bad" decisions with my diet these last 4 weeks - a calorie is a calorie mentality - and gained 5 lbs. in 4 weeks. Calories in calories out is not all that is about. Sorry.
-
Great job - keep it up! Every bit helps as you have found!
-
I'd take 12% body fat and a bloated stomach any day! LOL.
-
OK this can't be just from 30 days of Jillian's 30 day shred. What else are you doing/did you do/or how long is the lapse in time from before and after here.

Yep as everyone said you can eat whatever you want and lose weight as long as you have that deficit. And to many people that's important. Being fit and being healthy are totally different mindsets than losing weight.

Treat yourself to a healthy dinner out :) Almost every sit down restaurant has good healthy choices.

It's only $10 at Walmart :)
