I did! I have never been overweight, when I started paleo I was 5'5", 132, size four jeans. In two months I lost 17 pounds. It was crazy, eating this way just works for me. Good luck! Whatever rate you lose, you're going to feel wonderful, and that's the real payoff =)

I googled it and the consensus seems to be that usually they are soy bean sprouts, and are considered a legume, so most paleo peeps who try to keep it clean don't eat them.

Last Christmas my sister made goat cheese stuffed, bacon wrapped dates. I didn't think I liked dates, these were amazing. VERY delicious. Mmmmmmmmm ( I guess the bacon rules these out for your friends, but in any event, these are a wonderful primal appetizer)

I've had that entree, it's pretty small. It's light no matter how you slice it.

@Tribe : If I ate 1200 calories of bread I'd be miserable and want 1200 more. I wouldn't eat it, but I'd want it. Glad 1200 calories of carbs works ok for you. The fat intake is really hard to get your head around after a lifetime of high carb, low fat thinking. It was for me as well. You will adapt and maybe even love it. You will probably miss the fruit and fruit juice less and less as you adapt to a lower carb intake, and enjoy the fat more and more. It works. Keep at it.…

"Quick add" calories could be anything, so it's hard to tell. Have your doctor test you for lactose intolerance and gluten sensitivity.

The app does in fact record them on line. I use it almost daily. Log your food. All of it. Then see what happens.

When I was really cold while sleeping it turned out to be Hypothyroidism. Get it checked!

+1 on the magnesium and salt. Either supplement with magnesium tablets or take epsom salt bath soaks for at least 12 minutes 4 times a week.
