I NEVER reply, but had to for you. I'm proud of you! Look at the son you've raised, Way to go, Mom!

I agree with the max carbs at 20%, 40 isn't low carb. You don't have to meet your calories everyday necessarily, but 1200 is low already. For this reason I agree with the advice to not be afraid of f at. Eating more of it will definitely help you get more calories, without feeling stuffed. Good luck!!

I felt tired for awhile, and when I'm tired I easily get cold. So I suppose I was cold more often during that time, but it was bcuz of the carb flu feeling I believe.

I have been doing this for two years and my head still gives me a hassle about the fat! I cannot stop what I've spent a lifetime programming into my brain. "Fat is bad" I fight back tho and eat tons of fat anyway. In fact, if I put on a few pounds, I eat more fat and I get back to my goal weight. You can overcome it! =)

I agree as well, take your medication and do your Whole 30, and let us know how you're dong!

This post is about to become a gazillion pages long! Here we go....

That looks amazing! Also, for extra entertainment, read the comments....ha ha ha! Very funny.....

Dairy stalls me as well. Also, I didn't eat sweet potatoes until I was at goal, and very minimal nuts. Bacon and avocados almost every day though!! Mmmmm

Yes, what Steve said.

Sure, oranges are "healthy" and they're full of sugar. For induction, I had to avoid fruit. Then I added berries only.

Love them! I roast them in the oven, a little butter and salt, maybe a fresh parsley sprinkle when they are still firm but fork tender

We def need deets!

I disagree. I eat high fat always, and my tri's are down to 77 from over 200.....no matter when I have my blood checked, or what I've eaten leading up to the test. As long as I keep my carbs low. Are you a doctor or a nurse?

So what would you like to call it? For me the name doesn't really matter. As with the others, I may refer to it as Paleo because that's what some people recognize. What I do know it that while I have always been reasonably thin, I wasn't where I would've liked to be. I spent a couple decades trying to drop 10 pounds…

Nope!

Hello! Look for the Low Carb group or Paleo/Primal Group, sadly you will catch hell posting about low carb in the "regular" forums. Don't take it personally ;)) Just visit the other locations
-
Ahahaha! Oh yea, gotcha indeed showed me for sure!
-
Ha! There's one now!

Yes check out the low carb forums and Paleo/primal forums, too. In about 2 seconds you will get plenty of replies from people who wait for these posts to chime in on the subject with all their "infinite food wisdom and knowledge" Don't spend any time on them, they are rude, condescending and unhelpful. Good luck!

Urinary Tract Infections are not caused by antibiotics, they are caused by bacteria. http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/urinary-tract-infections-in-teens-and-adults-topic-overview Go ahead folks, make fun of WebMD, I am referencing this one link because to list all of the data available would be ridiculous. I have battled…

You have to go to the doctor. Go now. UTI's are miserable. Feel better soon!
-
LOL @ the card jokes Kitty, you said "card" in both your subject line and your post. I think you mean Low CarB?
-
HA! Love that
-
Maybe you need more fat to help with hunger. Meat based diet? Sounds good to me......good luck and let us know how it goes and what changes you make!
-
You can be eating low carb and still be eating at maintenance or higher. Decrease your intake or increase your activity. The amount you eat matters. I don't understand the dragon breath part. Good hygiene and hydration should be the answer to that.
-
That's right! You know you can do it since you did it before! Good luck and Happy New Year =)
-
If you're "dieting" we can assume you're at a calorie deficit, AND in ketosis. Keep it up! It will happen. =)
