When the boss says 8 cups, then I go for 8 CUPS. Like measure a cup. It's really not a lot!

Maybe I'm wrong, but what I understand is that if you don't get enough water, you will get dehydrated and retain water and gain that "water weight". Maybe it's not true of someone who does no exercise and does not sweat. But recently I had a really sweaty day and only had about 5 cups of water (I don't know why. i think i…

Fun! I'm in! July 1 - Canada Day - Spent the entire day walking around Old Montreal... I will count 3 hours walking July 2 - nothing July 3 - nothing Total: 180/1440 mins PS: People who've done this before... Did this help you lose weight?

Thank you guys! Another thing to look forward to: a nice hourglass figure, and not all of a sudden being a straight line!

Yes yes yes, the OP doesn't want to have a heart attack at 23! According to everyone here.. low-carb is just a different kind of low-calorie diet? I guess if you have to cut out baked goods and pasta and EVERYTHING DELICIOUS then you will lose weight anyways, carbs or no carbs!

holy crap... only 30 lbs!?? you look AMAZING!... and about my size (i started at 192 lbs) .. so that means... only 18 more lbs and i might look like that?! thank you!! and GREAT job, lady!!

Aww I thought it was a real thing, so gullible! (not like i would eat snake oil anyway)

They showed examples! The anti-inflammatory things were like nuts and olive oils and multi-grain bread with avocado spread... and the "anaerobic exercise".. Well there was a "fitness expert" and she did a demonstration on a stepper, just stepping up and down for a while (aerobic) and then did another like sideways stepping…

As a Canadian, I would imagine you could get in in Texas or Arizona.... hahaha... WHAT is snake oil!!!

Yes that's what we've all heard and assumed to be true; I just want to know people's results with low-carb diets. You have too much belly fat, you probably have too much everywhere fat, so if you lose weight, you lose belly. Of course. I'm not sure what Dr. Oz has to gain by telling people how to eat better, but I'm sure…

Unbelieveable.. you look amazing!!!! I bet you FEEL even more amazing!!!

I read somewhere that cutting out carbs for dieting purposes is okay and will be effective BUT you will need to up your fat and protein intake. Just a thought. Also, I love carbs and they are delicious. I don't plan on cutting them out unless I reach a hump as well ;)

I wouldn't be so black and white about it. "Eat back your exercise calories or you will starve" that's just silly. A lot of people here have a higher calorie allowance than us. From what I can tell, 1200 is the bare minimum anyone should eat in a day. If I log out with about 200 calories leftover I get a warning saying…

You need a heart rate monitor so that you can be very accurate when calculating calories burned. Some HRM's will tell you how many calories you burn, others just give you a heart rate. But then you can go online or get an app and enter your weight, age, how long you worked out and what your average heart rate was. Then…

They make you do PLANKS! AAHHhoo nooo I'm on Level 1 day 7 I think.. it's still hard but my endurance is getting better and my calves are turning into a freakshow! hahaa

Potatoes!! I can hardly ever eat them now, like if I have bbq the potato has more calories than my steak! Also pasta. And bananas! 100 calories still isn't much but come on, it's a fruit, give me a break.

Jogging is boring. Walking is boring. And you end up so far from home :(

This is my normal morning routine: Get out of bed, pee, weigh myself naked. (that way i KNOW it's not just heavier clothes or a full bladder!) Then I post my weight. My progress graph looks like a squiggly staircase but it IS going down! But on Tuesday I started 30 Day Shred and supposedly it makes you lose inches but…
