Yesterday, it synced about every 6 hours (I have it set to continuous, which normally is about once every hour). The final sync was 11:59 local time both Sunday and Monday. I did not have to do anything but wait.

Did you check the link that was posted above? That will have the latest information. A check of MFP Help/FAQ indicates it is *still* a known intermittent issue today. https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2937167-fitbit-interruptions-

On the mobile app, scroll to the bottom of the Recent list and there will be a link to search the MyFitnessPal database. There should also be a search icon (magnifying glass) on the screen or the pop-up keyboard.

There is another MFP user with almost the same username as yours without the "a" in the middle. They may have sent the PM to the wrong user.

You can not share recipes directly with another user, and another user will not find your recipes through a search. Your recipes will be displayed in the search results only when you perform a search. There is a workaround to log another user's Recipe nutrition information. Once you log a Recipe to one of your Meals,…

I'll take a guess. I assume the custom created exercises are stored in a database table that is only available to your account. Whereas, the public Exercise Database entries are stored in a public table. It could be that the software script that runs only pulls from the public table when posting to the news feed.

For instructions on how to add food to your Diary and use the app, please see these articles, and search for answers to Frequently Asked Questions and other helpful articles, on the MFP Help/FAQ pages... https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/en/portal/topics/455840-food-diary-and-food-database/articles…

Did the steak have visible pieces of fat around the sides? If so, it was probably trimmed to 1/8" fat. Did you eat that fat? If the steak did not have visible fat around it, it was probably trimmed to 0" fat. If there was not any edge fat, I would suggest searching for this and logging it as the average of the three…

See my edit on my post above.

If the restaurant listed the steak as 8 oz., that normally means it was the weight of the raw meat. The final cooked weight would be less. Search for the following in MFP and log it raw as 8 ounces (227g). beef tenderloin lean and fat trimmed raw Edited to add: Beef in the US is divided into three grades: prime, choice,…

I can sort My Meals in the Add Food to Diary workflow on both the web version and mobile app.

You can sort them alphabetically in the add food to Diary workflow on both the mobile apps and web version. I believe you can not sort them when viewing them in the create/edit workflow. Please see this article, and search for answers to Frequently Asked Questions and other helpful articles, on the MFP Help/FAQ…

I would recommend reading through the first three posts in this thread on the MFP Fitbit Users group... http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10098937/faq-syncing-logging-food-exercise-calorie-adjustments-activity-levels-accuracy http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users

December 2014. I believe that was also when MFP reduced carb goal by 5% and increased protein goal by 5%. Although this article currently indicates the article was last update in 2015, I have posts prior to that updated article noting the goal change in December 2014.…

There are left and right arrows on either side of the word "Today" that take you to past or future dates respectively.

One serving size of angel hair pasta is normally 56g dry and is 200 Calories. Can you post a pic of the label? Here is a representative label.

The image is labeled yesterday. Check that the time zones match for MFP and your activity tracker. Are you on travel in a different time zone?

If you are using the web version right now, there is a current bug. Clear your browser's cache and log in again. Navigate to FOOD > Database. You can not add food items to your Diary from this page though, it is more for browsing for and editing the database. To add food to your Diary, navigate to FOOD > Diary and then…

I've been here for years, and there was a time when a change in the Calorie Goals would affect even previous dates. That was a bug MFP fixed around December 2014 or so. Perhaps you made a temporary rate loss change before that and it affected the previous dates?
-
The deficit to lose 0.5 pound per week is 250 Cals. Since the difference in 1560 and 1290 is around 250 Cals, it is most likely you chose a different weight loss rate this time.

OK, there is something definitely messed up with your account. I would recommend opening a Case with Customer Support on the MFP Help/FAQ pages... http://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/emails/new

First, check your height. If that is correct, change your Goal back to maintenance and note how many Calories it gives you.
-
Then your setting in MFP is *not* set to lose 2 lbs. per week. It is set at maintenance. BMR = 2008 Cals At maintenance, 1.25 x 2008 Cals = 2510 Cals.
-
Working backwards, 3510 Cals/day - 1000 Cals/day = 2510 Cals (goal at 2 lbs per week). Sedentary = 1.25 x BMR of maintenance (3510); therefore, BMR should be 2800 Cals. The stats I got for a male of 245 lbs with a BMR of 2800 Cals would be if you were a 20 y.o. with a height of 9'5". Check your stats!
