Hi, I'm Chala! Please add me to Team Michonne. I'm ready to kick zombie *kitten* ;)

This seems awesome! Quick question, in the description for Team Michonne I see that 60 minutes of the cardio should be martial arts based. Does that mean we have to make 60 mins each week martial arts based, or is that just highly encouraged?

Depends on the kind of person you are. Are the 800 calories themselves that significant? No, not really. Are you the type of person to have several slip up days per week eating junk food? Then you might want some accountability the next day.

Polar is very popular. I have the F6 (pink and I can swim with it) but there are many cheaper polar versions out there. Make sure you get one with a strap that goes around your ribcage for increased accuracy.

Exactly.

Myfitnesspal is based off of you eating them back.Often it can depend on how you are measuring those calories. MFP, for instance, tends to overestimate so you might not want to eat all of them back. I use a polar heart rate monitor with a strap which is known to be pretty accurate. I eat every exercise calorie back. My…

I have better results when I exercise more and eat more.

My 5'7" and pre-kids. My goals weight is 125. But I don't look too shabby at a decently toned135 right now either.
-
I too leave calories for nighttime snacking. But if I don't have many left for whatever reason I love Brach's Cinnamon Hard Candy. The sugar free is 3 pieces for 35 calories and something about sucking on spicy cinnamon stops my nibble.

I'm 22 yo, 5'7" and my goal weight is 125..... Though my secrete goal weight is 123 because its a neat number.

Fascinating stuff, I never knew!

I've only lost a few pounds and don't have too much more to go. BUT I'm here every summer to tighten up and get performance ready for the year. Illness and disability usually hit me hard by the end of the year so I nip it in the bud right away during summer. It doesn't mean I'm not experienced in what I say just because my…

Edy's Slow Churned Cookie Dough Ice Cream or their Mint variety most days of the week...YUM

I don't have much weight to lose so it should be fairly accurate... let's see! Height: 5'7" Wrist: 6" Frame Size: small Ideal Weight: 123-136 My Goal Weight: 125

Both! Peanut butter with jam on my Magic Pop in the morning & bacon pieces on my salad in the afternoon.

A quick blister question, what causes blisters between toes? I'm getting them between my big toe and the one next to it on my left foot. I've been trying baby powder cornstarch to reduce friction but it hasn't helped much. Would the cause lie more in the shoes or in the socks?

I have a high rate that I believe doesn't match my level of fitness (recently went off beta blockers). I have a Polar HRM and I lowered the VO2 max so the watch believes I'm more out of shape than I am thereby giving me less calories for a higher heart rate. It's been working great so far and is very consistent.

Brazil Butt Lift. It's actually shaping my butt to be rounder and lifted. I've always had a soft booty but I can physically see the round dent forming and I'm only in the second week! I've lost a half inch off my rear and I'm doing the 'Classic' program. You would probably like the 'Too Flat or Square' track which is all…

Bud light lime is tastey, 116 calories. Usually is my beer of choice. If you want a really cheap beer trying using something like Select 55 (only 55 calories) and add some lime juice in.
-
Both for sure! Breakfast and sore abs soaking up all the water would mess with anybody's measurements!
-
Agreed. If you are still up in a week or two then I'd evaluate.
-
Brazil butt lift. I just finished my first week and I already have shape being defined that I've never had before! I can literally feel the curve. It's fantastic!
-
I just completed day 4. Quite a workout!! High and tight kills me every time. I might exchange the Sculpt video for something else, for some reason I don't like it very much.
-
I would love to try that! The classes for it are so expensive though :ohwell: Maybe some day!
-
I belly dance too. Though for me its the shimmy drills or choreographies that push me to pump it. I love the Just Dance series and used to do Dance Dance Revolution. I should pull that back out along with Zumba for the Wii! Last week I got my first dance hoop. Kultz hooping burns a lot of calories  I also have fire…
-
Where is the group? I just started it.
-
Oh yes it sure yes! The girls from my university belly dance troupe could verify that. Rocking some curves all while being fit and beautiful at the same time! Same goes for the shimmy sisters we had with straight figures, as long as you have a hip belt everyone has something to shake.

You report the post, not the person. And dealing with issues should never resort to insults and belittling others. At that point moderation is needed. Back to the topic at hand: I would never want to be a size 2. But that's because all my clothes are a size 4 so being a size 2 would be problematic
-
Just report insulting posts instead of replying with an insult yourself. Calling a thinner person a string bean and calling a larger person a cow can be equally insulting. Both have the ability to de-humanize by stigmitizing a person's body type. If the person takes it as an insult, for whatever reason, then apologize and…

I love my polar F6. It's been holding up wonderfully through all my exercises and constant use for months at a time every summer- even swimming! Has a chest strap too.
