This will be a 9 week long fitness challenge based on Season 4, Part 2 of The Walking Dead. Players will compete in fitness and trivia challenges based upon each week's episode while they work towards their own personal goals. Starts February 3rd 2014 with the first challenges based upon last December's finale show.
This will be an open group, team wins and MVP awards will be based on performance and participation. Join up, choose a team, make some friends, get fit and watch the show every Sunday night. This challenge is suitable for all fitness levels and is a great starting challenge for newbie's who are just starting cardio workouts, weight training and who are trying to stay within their calorie goals. This challenge will provide motivation, accountability and will be a lot of fun.

To join, go to the group and click Join and introduce yourself on Meat and Greet and start deciding on a team. No invites required. No limits on membership, no limits on team sizes, but choose wisely. If your team's Character is killed on the show, your entire team must join the Walker Horde. Scoring will be averaged 'per capita' so that small teams have the same chances of winning each week as do large teams. Challenges are found under Walking Dead threads and Discussions are found under Talking Dead threads.
Will also be accepting volunteers for Team Captains. You can captain one team and play on it or you can play on another.
Brief Summary of the Twelve Teams:
Team Rick, Team Michonne and Team Daryl are all advanced teams which will start with 240 minutes of weekly cardio minimums.
Team Carol, Team Carl, Team Glenn and Maggie, Team Tyreese and Sasha and Team Zombie Horde are all intermediate teams which will start with 210 minutes of weekly cardio minimums.
Team Beth, Team Lilly and Tara, Team Mika and Lizzie and Team Bob are all beginner teams and will start with 180 minutes of weekly cardio minimums.
All team members of all teams, regardless of fitness level, will be encouraged to meet their weekly food intake goals and to resistance train for 30 minutes 3 times a week. You do not have to have a gym membership or even dumbbells, a simple resistance band will do!
PM me if you have any questions or want to volunteer as a Team Captain. Duties will include:
1. Keeping a list/spreadsheet of your team members goals and starting stats.
2. Receiving Saturday evening PMs from team members and compiling their weekly results to send on to me.
3. Choosing a weekly (and overall) MVP and assigning rewards to them.
4. Watching the Walking Dead weekly and tracking your team's Character's kills, as these are points for your team the following week.
5. Winning Team Captains get to hand out punishment exercises to all of the other teams.

This seems awesome! Quick question, in the description for Team Michonne I see that 60 minutes of the cardio should be martial arts based. Does that mean we have to make 60 mins each week martial arts based, or is that just highly encouraged?0
