Walked 1.6 miles yesterday to pay a bill. Every little bit helps! Getting ready to go do C25K and walk for today... Know that I have to get at least 4 miles to stay on track for goal. Think I am gonna try for 6 though... Felling determined to make goal! [/url]

Like dessertlover2 said, if you are willing to add chicks, you can friend me. I am not here to flirt either- happily married and not interested in anyone else. I am here to focus on me and get my ish together, and to help motivate/encourage other people to keep going. I also eat whatever I want, and unfortunately the trend…

Nice job! You should be proud of yourself!

I look at it this way... if I exercise, I need to eat more calories to fuel my body, so I eat back pretty much all of them. Hope that makes it a little easier.

Adding 4 miles- walking.

I think that I am going to have to track calories for a very long time. I have a huge problem with portion control still, and find that if I don't track, I overeat very easily. Plus I still have so many other bad habits that I have from before, and I find that if don't track I slip into the old ways too easily. Basically…

0 miles yesterday, as I worked a long shift and then ran errands. By the time I got home from that it was time for dinner then bed. :frown: 4 miles added today. C25K W2D2 and walking.

You're not weird. I was not married until I was 28. Still have no kids of my own- have been married 4 years now. Had no interest in getting married until I was 26 (made him wait 2 years  ). I completely thought that I would never get married nor have children, because I never thought I would find a person who would…

My husband goes to a trainer/nutritionist guy who runs a gym and sells supplements. He told the guy what the doctors said, that hey want him to be down to 150 lbs. The guy did the body fit test on him, measuring percentage of body fat and muscle mass, said there was no way he could get down to that. My husband would…

I can't say that I have a favorite. Among my favorites are "dark tower series", the hunger games trilogy, really like the game of thrones series (on book 3), 1984, johnny got his gun, brave new world, little women... the list goes on and on. haven't read fifty shades yet. Not sure that I want to, even though I have heard t…

First off, great job! You look amazing! As far as the shoes... what about a dress boot, or maybe an open toed type of thing? Something that you could wear with jeans even... I understand the hating to dress up thing and feeling uncomfortable- love the idea of a dry fit under the suit! I have to remember that!

HAHAHAHA! That is probably the funniest thing that I have read! Love it! And very true. I think I have only used a treadmill at the gym once before I was even seriously trying to be healthy. All of my walks and jogs are outside. When it rains and snows, I thought about trying to run in place- just not sure if I would enjoy…

0 miles in yesterday because of a long day at work and rain :frown: . Planning on getting out in a couple of hours to get my walk and C25K in... Just need to let the food settle. Wasn't thinking when I ate this morning- don't like to run with food in the belly :grumble:

0 miles yesterday. 6 miles today (C25K week 1 and walking).

I completed it last September and worked up to running for 45-48 minutes. Then life kicked in and I quit running. When I tried to run again, I had no endurance at all. Pretty much all the stamina and endurance that I had built up- vanished... so am starting over. The funny thing is- I don't like to run while I am doing it,…

Got a 4 mile walk in today.

2 mile walk around the levee. Can I up my goal to 90 miles? I planned on walking 2 miles a day and did not even consider that I am going to be doing C25K 3 times a week:blushing: . Thanks! Sorry if it is an inconvenience :flowerforyou:

It took me over a year for me to notice my results. I was weighing and seeing the weight go down, but I didn't actually see the difference. Other people were seeing it though, so don't get discouraged. Sometimes, you are your own worst enemy. Just work the system and let the system work.

Adding 4 miles

I know how you are feeling. I lost 50 lbs. in the past year and a half. Figured it was now a habit to pick the healthier foods and to exercise. Then I lost my job in October, and got a little depressed. I ended up gaining about 10-15 back, and am now trying to get back into the mindset where I want to go exercise and I…
