BMI???
How much stock do you put into the BMI?? I am looking at it in horror! I am supposed to weigh between 101 and 136 pounds. I have a tendency to think that if I were to even get to the upper end of that range that I would look horribly ill and feel that way too. I was so excited a few minutes ago thinking that I may have…

So, the hubby and I have recently started juicing. How do I figure the nutritional content in each juice?? I am not sure how to log these in the food diary. Any thoughts??

A little realization
I just realized t hat I joined this site a year ago last September. I did not realize that it was that long ago. When I first joined, I wasn't very active in it. I never really talked to anyone, didn't use it to weigh in and track progress, just used it to track foods- and did not even do that good of a job at that. Now…

issues getting enough calories
I have recently started working a second job and have noticed that on those days that I work it, I am not eating 1200 calories. I am eating 1000 to 1100. It is not every day, maybe 2-3 times a week. The thing is that I am not feeling hungry, and I don't want to eat something bad just to add the calories that I know I need.…

How do I describe my activity level??
I don't know whether to describe my lifestyle as sedentary or lightly active. I have a full time job in which I sit down all day, so I had my profile set to sedentary. However, I have just started a part time job in retail, so now I am not sure which to set my profile at. Any thoughts??

Percentage of body fat tracker??
I am tracking my percentage of body fat along with my weight loss. That way if the scale goes up or doesn't change but the percentage of body fat goes down, I won't be discouraged. I was just thinking that having a place to track it here would be very helpful.

Exercise during surgery recovery
I am having my first surgery in one week. I will be on a weight restriction for 2 weeks after that, so I know heavy exercise is out. Any suggestions (besides going for walks) on exercises that you think I might be able to do? I don't want this to affect me too much and end up gaining a lot of weight during that couple of…

getting frustrated with myself
I know that I need to eat healthier, and I need to exercise. I am doing pretty good with keeping myself motivated to work out and get moving, but when I hurt so bad that I can barely do the exercise I tend to quit (working out with video games). But I am getting right back to it either the next day or later in the day.…

Maybe a weird question
My husband and I just got the Kinect and I have been using UFC Trainer. The issue is that we have hardwood floors so I have been using a yoga mat during the floor exercises. Now when I try to do the crunches of various types, my lower back starts screaming at me. Is it because there is not enough padding down? It doesn't…

HRM use??
I don't have a heart rate monitor (yet) to monitor my calories burned. When I get one, is there a way to enter the actual calories on the exercise tracker? I have been looking because I am curious as to how that will work, but I have not seen that option.

When is a good time to work out?
Does it make a difference if you work out in the morning, early evening, or at night? Or is it just a preference/ when you can work it in your schedule type of thing? Are there any benefits as too which time of day you work out?
