Didn't get to go back out for exercise yesterday because of the holiday and holiday plans- but I did go to a huge fair and walk around- just couldn't track it. I am doing it (again). Am on week 4- day 2 is tomorrow. I finished it last september then quit running. Figured I needed to get back into it.

Gotta love Mother Nature. Go outside in a temp of 89. With heat and humidity, it's about 103. Then, as I am walking a bird starts dive bombing me, for what reason, I don't know... :grumble: But I got 4 miles in, anyway... Now sitting here, literally dripping sweat.

Without exercise I try to stay around 1490. But am usually over. Usually end up around 1600-1800 cals.

I don't know if you have an Aldi in your area, but they are great for canned fruit, canned veggies, yogurt, and fresh produce. They also have good prices on pasta and sauces. Haven't looked at dried beans there, because I don't make a lot of those- though I should... They are also decent on eggs and milk. Otherwise, maybe…

It took me over a year to lose 40-ish pounds. Don't be so quick to give up. You didn't put the weight on overnight so it's not gonna fall off over night. Trust in the process and work towards your goals... you can achieve them if you put in the work and don't give up.

I know that it is difficult, but have you told him how his comments are affecting you? Maybe he doesn't realize that what he is saying is hurting you. If you have told him and he keeps it up, then yeah he is not being supportive at all. If he doesn't realize it, maybe telling him will make him more compassionate.
