  • I'm 5ft 7 and and started at 187lbs and a size 16 (UK sizes) At 175lbs I was a size 14 and I'm now 156 and a size 10-12. My goal is 147 and size 10.
  • I was a 36GG at my heaviest and now I'm 30lbs smaller and I'm a 32FF so I'm still a very awkward size! Mine have lost some of their fullness though and I'm seriously thinking about surgery - I don't need implants, just a lift and shape.
  • The squats my trainer has given me are either with an 8kg kettlebell or one legged using the TRX.
  • If its lunch I have a 6 inch, if its dinner its always a footlong. Hearty Italian Bread Toasted Chicken Cheese Lettuce Tomato Cucumber Onion Pickles Light mayo I absolutely love the steak and cheese sub but I've gotta have South West Sauce on it and that's REAL bad for you.
  • It wasn't too difficult. I've lost 17lbs in total (13lbs using MFP) over the course of 3 months. I workout 6 days a week and stick to 1400-1500 calories a day. I did plateau for 3 weeks but have recently busted through that.
  • Everyone, this was intended to be light hearted and in good humour. I like to think that generally I'm a nice person, the only reason I posted was because I thought it was a bit weird not because I'm nasty and think I should be able to command other people in my gym. I'm not stewing over it and I didn't get worked up about…
  • Lesson learned. I'm steering clear of these forums from now on.
  • Ok ok, I get it. I'm an irritable b*tch and should try to be nice to people (I wasn't rude BTW, I just carried on with what I was doing) I just thought it was a little weird.
  • I wasn't gonna move when I've already completed like 20 minutes of a 35 minute run. It wasn't like I was furious, i was just perturbed that someone would do that!! We work out next to each other cuz he is a very experienced runner and I'm not so he motivates me by giving me the thumbs up and stuff. We do also talk while…
  • I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds this odd. Although I admit I am nit-picky and that in itself is odd. The cinema thing has happened to me too where people sit right in front of you when there is no one else in the whole cinema!
  • I don't know how anyone could read a book while doing cardio but watching TV is just a case of looking at the screen surely! I was watching a football game. Trust me, I was working hard - 35 mins at speed 9.9kmph when 4 weeks ago I could run more than a few yards!
  • Lol the thought of me being the most fit looking person in the room is hilarious!!! I think it was just the fact that I was the only other girl in there!
  • Ok yeah I hadn't thought of her being inexperienced. I'm just a bit too easily irritated I reckon!! Its like other posters have said though, its a personal space thing!
  • I normally allow myself a little bit of what I'm craving providing I've got the calories spare.
  • I don't use BMI, I remember reading a statistic that the entire England rugby team was considered obese according to BMI measurements.
  • I had two miscarriages last year and have just started trying again. As some of the other posters have said, its a pain that can only be understood by those who've been through it. I' I'd love to have some of you as friends on here. Miscarriage is very misunderstood by those who haven't experienced it so its really nice to…
  • I'm a purchasing assistant for a pet healthcare manufacturer. I hate it.
  • I'm TTC too after two miscarriages last year and I'm carrying on as normal. There's a woman who goes to my gym who's gotta be about 6 or 7 months pregnant and she still goes on the cross trainer and the bike. I see her in there at least twice a week. I think I'll take it easy for the first 12 weeks just because my…
  • Thanks for the advice. There's no way in hell I'm giving up, I have turned from an absolute gym phobic into a gym addict so I'll definitely stick at it. I know I'm losing some inches, I'd be interested in seeing what my body fat is. I'm trying to build more weights into my workouts, I usually do my cardio then go and do 10…
  • Its my own fault for weighing every single day. I just can't help myself! I think I'd addicted to the gym now, if I didn't go for a week I'd freak out!
  • My biggest dream is to have a big family, we'd like 4 kids ideally but I'm nearly 31 so I hope I have time to have 4! I'd also like to own a business one day, like a chain of coffee shops. And ever since I saw Mariah Carey on Cribs, I've always wanted a closet like hers!!!
  • Hi Nicadee, I'm originally from Wiltshire (Devizes to be exact) and now in Somerset. Welcome and feel free to add me!

  • Hello, I'm 30, from Somerset and trying to shift some weight before I start trying to have a baby! Feel free to add me, I love having friends on here to cheer on!
  • Gin and slimline tonic is about 56 cals  There are some really good low calorie wines out there too. Banrock Station do low cal varieties in red, wine and rose. I think they are about 60 cals per 125ml glass.

  • Glad someone asked this, I thought I was doing it wrong! My feet go tingly after about 15 minutes.
  • I have big boobs and have lost 14lbs (only got about another 14 to go) and my boobs haven't shrunk or sagged at all. They have stayed EXACTLY the same size which is kinda disappointing because they are too big for my frame.
  • Exactly. I have bad posture because of them as well. I really hoped dropping weight would make a difference and it hasn't!
  • LOL yes thanks for that but honestly I look like I need like massive feet to balance me out. I'll have to start wearing clown shoes to stop me falling over!!!
